Welcome to this beautiful, detached holiday home 800 metres above sea level in picturesque St. Georgen im Gailtal (near Villach) in Carinthia. Surrounded by mountains, lakes and close to the Nassfeld ski area, it is the perfect place for winter sports enthusiasts and active holidaymakers in all seasons. The house is fully equipped and offers a high quality of stay, it is generously proportioned, with plenty of outdoor space and an unobstructed view of the mountains of the Gailtaler Alps!
The possibilities for leisure activities are almost inexhaustible and offer something for every taste:
Sankt Georgen im Gailtal is located in the famous border triangle between Italy, Austria, and Slovenia. The well-known Nassfeld ski area in the Sun Ski World, with 110 kilometers of pistes, and the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area, with almost 70 kilometers of pistes, can be reached in approximately 25-30 minutes by car.
The region around the Gailtal valley offers numerous outdoor activities and excursion options: swimming in one of the nearby lakes (Ossiacher See, Pressegger See, Weißensee, Faaker See, Wörthersee), hiking and climbing mountain peaks, cycling along the River Gail, strolling through small towns typical of the region, exploring culinary highlights in the region's top restaurants and down-to-earth mountain huts.
