Pleasant hotel, ideally located , a stones throw from the harbour and all amenities, easy walking distance to the same. Car parking was available ,just managed to squeeze in next to the 4x4's!!
Room was good ,bathroom was excellent , breakfast was very good , so all in all no complaints.
The rooms haven’t been updated in some time but that was part of the charm for us. We felt like we had stepped back in time a bit and the chipped paint and wallpaper pealing in the corners was part of the fun as the room was clean and the bed was comfortable
The parking was very tight. When I asked at reception about alternatives the young man looked at the CCTV and told me there were "plenty spaces" . I'm actually an Observer with the Institute of Advanced Motorists and there were no spaces without everyone having to reverse out onto the street. But it was his argumentative attitude.
Lovely hotel nice and handy for buses train ferry & lots of nice shops . The room we were in was clean enough but in need of upgrade it was a bit tired looking .
