Family house with easy access to beach and town

This has been our family's vacation home since the 1950s. In the past few years, we've updated the interior without violating the character of the classic beach bungalow. The house comes with toys and books for your kids, spices and other basics in the pantry, and AC in all the bedrooms, plus the living room.
The screened in porch is a great place to people-watch while you eat and always has a cool breeze from the ocean in the evenings. And the deck is a more secluded option to relax in the sun or cook a meal cooked on the propane grill.
During your stay at this holiday home, you're just a quick walk from Ocean Beach. The holiday home includes amenities such as a kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms.

Perfect spot for a family getaway!
Our family of 4 stayed at Dunroamin for 8 days in August and had a great time! The house was perfectly situated between the beach and town. The house was clean, tidy and had plenty of books and toys to keep our 4 and 1 year old kids occupied on the rainy days...and great beach toys for them to use on the sunny days! Aviva was very responsive leading up to the trip, answering our questions about the house and Fire Island in general and the house instructions were super clear and organized. Ocean Beach has it all: beautiful beach, great restaurants, cute shops, ice cream (!!), a playground, a swimming area in the bay and more. We will be back!
