Parking is confusing and awful. There’s no spaces for a full hotel like that. Staff aren’t the most welcoming. Rooms are okay but small. It was very clean but very outdated.

The staff was wonderful. The room even though it was small , it was clean, bed was very comfortable ,The view from my side window was perfect . I could just sit in my side chair and enjoy the sunrise, sunset and the beach even though the weather outside was chilly with very strong winds. The best feature of the hotel was the balconies on the 3th and 4 th floor. There was plenty of room with tables and chairs to set out and enjoy the boardwalk sights and watch the waves rolling in. I was very please with the hotel and my room , but if I had one item to complain about , I wish that there was a coffee/ tea pot in every room. Yes there was one in the downstairs lobby, but It would require me to get dressed and go downstairs for my cup of tea instead of making it and enjoying it in my room in my pajamas.

The whole staff was friendly. From time of check in to time of check out. The cleaning staff always checked to see if we needed anything and I know we didn’t make it easy, just didn’t want our little dog to run out. The owner seen me in the parking lot and checked to make sure I was ok. I was with my son in law and he probably thought I didn’t know him. That made me feel comfortable. I’ll stay there again on my next trip.

Although I only stayed one night due to getting ill on my trip, the hotel is older but the staff and owners were very accommodating and wonderful! If you need a spot right on the beach for a good price, the Safari hotel is it.

The hotel was located steps from the boardwalk. Parking could be tight. Please be aware the photos of the site are for the rooms within the hotel building. We were given a room in a building adjacent to the hotel. It was cramped and run down. The staff were nice and coffee and cookies were made available in the hotel reception area.

Wonderful location
I appreciated the location, the vibes of this hotel. The AC was amazing! Yes it has an older feel to it and I think it's part of its charm. The staff is super friendly and helpful! The balconies overlooking the beach/ocean are wonderful!! It takes less than 2 minutes to be in the ocean! I'll be staying here again!

Everyone working at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and exactly what we needed for our couple of nights there. The location on the boardwalk was far enough away from the rides that it was a nice and quiet area, but close enough that we could easily walk to and from without any trouble. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Good enough to sleep in. Definitely not for hanging out. The rooms and hotel were very outdated. Rooms were clean, but damp and smelled like mildew. Nice big shred balcony that overlooked the boardwalk. Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking is a situation

Great place to stay!
I stayed at Safari for the last several years for a 1-2 night trip, just to meet a couple friends down in OC every summer. Always a safe, reliable, & affordable place for me to stay! My room is always clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. This is your basic motel room, nothing fancy, but never had a bad experience here!
