Stylish House close to Downtown, Trails and Slopes

Ogden is a premier outdoor destination that you'll love getting to know! This home has been recently renovated/updated with stylish furniture and décor. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with nearby parks, walking trails and the Ogden River. It includes a fully equipped kitchen - just bring your own food/drinks. You'll enjoy the entire house (3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms) with a sleeping capacity of 8. It is in a great central location whether you plan to stay in the city or take day trips.

When you walk in the front door, the open floor plan enables you to see the entryway, dining area, kitchen, and office space. The master bedroom (king) is on the main level along with one full bathroom. The laundry room and living room are also on the main level. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms (one queen, and one with two twin beds and two trundles) and another full bathroom.

The house is in a cute neighborhood close to downtown Ogden. You will have access to the entire house with the exception of the owner's closet, which is off of the laundry room. The driveway can easily fit 2-3 cars. You can also park on the street as long as you are pointed in the same direction as traffic.

It is located within 20 miles from three premier ski resorts:
Snowbasin (19 miles/28 minutes)
Powder Mountain (19 miles/34 minutes)
Nordic Valley (15 miles/25 minutes)

It is only 2 blocks to one of many parks in the area, a 5 minute walk to the Ogden River Parkway, and less than a 10 minute walk to where the annual Pioneer Days Rodeo is held. There are many trailheads for hiking or mountain biking within a 10 minute drive.

A 5 minute drive allows you to enjoy one of the many restaurants on Historic 25th Street. Weber State University is 10 minutes away and Lagoon Amusement Park is less than a 30 minute drive. Salt Lake City Airport is 45 minutes away.

Headed to Snowbasin or Powder Mountain? You have the option to ride the bus - the closest stop from the house is .7 miles away. Please see UTA bus schedules for more details. The bus system also takes you to many attractions in the Ogden area.

Children and infants are welcome. However, we do not have any infant and toddler specific safety features. Please bring your own pack and play/baby gate/outlet covers if needed.

During snow season, we have salt and a snow shovel available by the back gate for your use.

The issue I had was lack of control over the thermostat. It’s an older drafty home and the thermostat kept resetting yo 60 and would take a couple hours to get to the setting. Fern after communicating and getting some settings changed it was difficult to be comfortable.

Simple Stories Get Creative Retreat
We traveled to Utah ahead of our Retreat to venture thru the State and see the beautiful mountains and surrounding sites. Niece and Nephew Ski Trip
We had a wonderful stay in Ogden. The house was cozy and clean, just the right amount of space for everyone. All appliances looked brand new. We skied at Snowbasin for 2 days + 1 day at Alta. The dinners in Ogden were excellent. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and worked out well. We will be back !

Our out of state family stayed here for a few nights to celebrate our son’s graduation from Weber State University. The house was perfect as it provided everything we needed from first morning coffee supplies to an iron to spiff up the graduation garb. Beautifully updated home close to everything in Ogden
We stayed in this wonderful home on our second leg of our family vacation. We chose this as our home base while in town to ski at Snow Basin. The home is completely renovated while maintaining the original historic charm. The location is perfect for a quick drive to downtown Ogden for restaurants and shopping. Snow Basin is a short 30-minute drive through beautiful Ogden Canyon. All amenities are top notch and the home felt cozy and safe. Communication with the hosts was top notch and all inquiries were answered immediately. HIGHLY recommend if your travels bring you to Ogden!

Nice Clean House in a Good Location for Restaurants
This house was obviously recently remodeled with interesting style elements including lots of exposed brick. It is a short drive from both Powder Mtn and Snow Basin. It is also only a short drive to lots of good restaurants. The king bed was very comfortable for two older skiers after a day on the slopes. When we choose to come to UT again we will look for this property first!

Great house, clean, comfortable, everything we needed was provided. We skied at Powder and Snowbasin and took yoga classes at Higher Ground yoga on 25th street. Had a great meal at Slackwater and did some shopping at the athletic stores in town. Highly recommend both the house and the location!! 5 stars!

Fantastic Restored Victorian Home.
Fans of architecture will love this property, which has been lovingly restored including things like leaving the original window sills exposed inside the house. The host was proactive in reaching out to me in order to ensure my stay went smoothly. Just a great experience overall and would deff stay again.

We loved our stay!
This home is beautiful and has everything you need for it to be your home away from home. Not only was it spotless, but it had super comfy beds, nice towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. It was minutes from restaurants and the grocery store. We skied at Powder Mountain and it was only a 35 minute drive. If we ever return to this area, we know where to stay.
