We experienced both the camp (one night) and the lodge (two nights). Compared to its newer, quieter and the more expensive neighbor, the camp was more lively and fun. We liked the staff at the camp better. The good looking front desk girl and the young maintenance guy helped us big time by making us a special power outlet adapter without which I would not be able to use our camera and phones. A big thank you!
Everything was as expected and have no complains about the property except for their post service.I stayed at the property on the 6th of Jan and checked out on the 7th of Jan. Made my booking through Hotels.com who charged my credit card. Upon check out, etosha asked me to make payment as they had not received monies from Hotels.com. I then paid them directly to avoid back and forth, also as i had to leave for my next trip. To this day (10th Feb), I'm struggling to get the refund for the double charge as Etosha does not respond to Hotels.com to verify that i paid them directly.I also sent them an email myself and have never received any acknowledgement of receipt. They have ruined a perfect stay in exchange for poor review which will drag their reputation as a proper establishment.
The service was great place is exceptionally clean and was great value for money. Would definitely stay there again.
Great excursion organised got see a pride of lions, several giraffes, brief glimpse of rhino, elephant, zebras and the various springboks.
The registration staff people were rude. We were told that we could only have the buffet dinner, no other choices. Another guest was given a dinner option for him grandson. We ate elsewhere. The air conditioning was not able to adequately cool our safari tent. This was probably to be expected, given the extreme temps outside.
The place was cleen, everything was marvellous, expect they wanted to charge us twice because they do not know how to get the money from Expedia 2hich I paid in advance

Comfortable, however a bit dated. Dining situation is wide open and lets birds fly in and out and eat from the buffet.
Rooms are basic.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Enjoyed casual friendly atmosphere and good dinners. Disliked poor maintenance - sewage line and plumbing broken and leaking at chalet, very poor WiFi
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cabins were adorable and well designed. The staff were friendly and helpful. We missed breakfast as we were so tired from a long drive the day before that we slept in.
This was a great place to stay overnight before passing through to Etosha. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was simple but good, the room was very clean & pretty much bug free! Really close to the NP!
Our family of 5 stayed here one night and loved it. The camp is close enough to Anderssen Gate that we spent an afternoon in the park and returned to spend the night before continuing our journey through Etosha the following day. The cabins are as clean as camp cabins can be, spacious, and perfectly spaced apart for privacy and convenience. We all loved the elephant showers!! Restaurant and bar are good. Would definitely go back (if we can ever afford another trip to Africa!!)
The place was great with the house we were in recently painted. The live music with dinner added to the warm atmosphere. Very good food especially in the evening. It was great to be in a different kind of place from a traditional lodge.
The camp have separated their bungalows in groups of about 5 and have spaced them so that you feel very secluded. VERY poor and slow wifi in the bar area only. The room was very basic, but adequate. Expected a bit more for the price we were paying.

Unfriendly front counter staff.
I booked a family room and had not specified 3 people. They got very upset at me and charged me a much higher rate for the extra person than I paid on line for 2 people. The shower was cold and had very little pressure. Only buffet option for food which is twice the price as dinner in the national park. Property was nice and relaxing. Feels like the hotel takes advantage of travelers wherever they can. Very expensive compared to national park that had a night time water hole and larger swimming pools.
The hotel has good facilities but was a little pricey compared to other places we stayed in Namibia. This was probably due to the time of year and location so close to Etosha.

Great option south of the park
This camp is directly off the main road, just south (and outside) the park. It consists of a central cluster of buildings that include dining areas, reception shop, bar, pool p and so on. Scattered about the surrounding hill are detached bungalow style cottages. Most if not all the cottages have a car parking area so one may drive to and from the main area if walking does not suit. A campground is laid out in a large level and grassy plain.
A buffet dinner is served in the evening. The food during my stay was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
