Toyed in Motel 6’s and days inn across the country on a month long road trip. This was the nicest of the ones I stayed at. More than just a bed to sleep in. My cat liked it too

Disaster. Spider in tub. Didn’t Sleep at all due to noise and cigarette and weed smells coming in the ac unit. All I wanted was a refund. Nope told to deal with Expedia since I used them. 0 and I mean 0 help from Expedia. Read the conversation.

The staff was extremely rude especially the man. He threatened me after I decided to extend my stay by a night and I had to split the payment on two different cards because they charge an additional fee for pets which is fine but I didn’t have the second card physically with me. When they were running my card the symbol for Apple Pay came up on their machine so I thought no problem I’ll just use my Apple Pay to pay the other portion and it’s a non issue. The lady that was also working argued and danced around the topic of them not having Apple Pay available and I explained I didn’t have my physical card with me and she said she could take Venmo but when I opened Venmo it wanted me to do an identity verification which I also explained to her. I told her that I could Apple Cash her the $10 so that if would be paid and I wouldn’t have to worry about it since she was willing to take Venmo but she wasn’t willing so I told them that I had to be going to run some errands and that I would get some cash on my way back but I wasn’t certain of what time I would be back. The man that was working actually told me that I had better pay and “not make him come up there” (to my room I guess). The property is infested with roaches and other weird looking bugs. The room was not clean on arrival the floors had a heavy residue and left our socks disgusting. The ac leaves the room sticky and humid like a swamp cooler and the front of it is not actually mounted properly. Never again

I loved that it was fully stocked with cooking pans, plates and utensils. If I had to stay an extended amount of time, this is the place I would go.

I was annoyed that I received 3 phone calls asking me when I was going to arrive. The room had an odd smell and only half a roll of tp. They only gave me back half of my deposit while telling me that they only charge $20 when you pay cash. Then why did the other guy charge me $40. And they charged my twice for the same night. I had to call to get a refund.
