Everyone we met was more than happy to assist with travel tips, transportation, and of course with our rooms. Best value I've ever gotten from a hotel. Beautiful building and location, and just a safe, 5 minute walk to the center of town. Shower was a bit weak but fine (and welcome) by South America standards.
The hotel is used by large tour groups visiting Machu Picchu, and is very noisy early in the morning and last thing at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and keep the hotel spotless. There is a very pleasant garden and a small bar beside it. It's fine when it's quiet, but when it gets mobbed by tour groups the atmosphere becomes rowdy.
This is your typical basic hotel. Beds and bathroom are all you are going to get here, and staying on the third floor that meant taking your bags up the stair. Our room was at the end at it included a nice patio. The blankets were warm and heavy. The stuff is very friendly and accommodating, we were able to leave our bags in storage after checking out and picked them up after our Machu Picchu trip.
Really happy I found this place! Our room was really big and spacious, and super clean. Beautiful garden! A little difficult to find small sign on the door but once we found it we were very happy. They even kept our bags for the time we were in Machu Picchu! Very helpful staff, reception helped us get our tickets for the train. Wifi didn't reach the rooms but worked well in the lobby. Great place in Ollay!

Nothing special but good for one night
This hotel is OK, nothing more. Good value for money. It is well located, close to the village center, walking distance (15min) to the ruins. From the last floor, you can see the ruins but if you carry heavy baggages, be ready for carrying them over three floors by the stairs!
The service was great, the staff very friendly, the room was very cosy and clean!

For those that keep an open mind and consider the price- This is a great hotel for a fun night after or before going to Machu Picchu.

David is great and the price even better
We had a very comfortable stay. The rooms are simple but very clean with plenty of hot water. It's within walking distance of town but far enough away for quiet. Free breakfast is included and David was nice enough to store our luggage until we left on the train.
This is a GREAT LITTLE PLACE!! And what value for money. It's 'no frills', but clean, basic and perfect for a stay in Ollantaytambo (a vibrant Inca town that should be more than just a stopover when catching the train). It's well located, has a beautiful garden, helpful staff. I travel a lot, this place is a 'find'.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helped is to get around. Thy even help me to call another hotel, where we were staying for the next night, to arrange a pick up. At the breakfast, they served great buns. The eggs were to be paid extra but that was a minor surprise.
This hotel is very basic but comfortable. It's in a great spot just a couple of minutes from the plaza de armas. The staff was nice, they didn't really speak English but it wasn't a problem for us.
Me and my husband stayed 1 nt at Inka Paradise on our way from Machu Pichu to explore Ollantantampo and really liked the place. It is very neat and beds r comfortable. The views are awesome, it is a great deal for money!
Beautiful hotel, quieter than all our other hostels. the power went out while we were there but the staff was very quick in getting it back on. no one in the town really knew where this little gem was so it was an adventure finding it. it really was a straight shot through Plaza de armas and past the local market. the garden is a beautiful sanctuary a nice place to sit and watch the hummingbirds. The staff is super friendly and the town is small but safe and the calle was the nicest we visited. Ask the locals where to find the best chicha and I highly recommend eating down at the local vendors by the train station (best authentic food without hyper inflated prices, besides this way you can share a table with the locals.)
The rooms are very basic (no TV for instance) but for the price the room was good. The breakfast was good and the location, only a few blocks from the main square, was excellent. Just a couple more blocks are the excellent Inca ruins of Ollantambo which are definitely worth visiting. The train station is less than a mile from the hotel. If you are not an ambitious walker, just take a motorcycle driven rickshaw for about $1.50. We loved the Heart's cafe between the square and ruins - the food was excellent and their profits help high mountain Peruvian women and children..
Hotel is located in narrow street with no sign on it, but it has a beautiful flower garden and mountain views.
The room was cold without heater. Wifi only in dining area downstairs. They required a copy of each traveler's
passport, rather unusual.
Hotel is in a great location...close to the main center of the town. Also, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Staff was also very nice.

Disliked: Room comfort
Just what you'd expect for a room for the price.
Decent hot water, beds are a little hard which was true of almost every place in Peru. This was the furthest possible hotel from the train station. About a 20 min walk.

Nice courtyard
No where to put belongings inside the room. Hart to find as hotel has no name or address on the street. Got locked out while family was eating lunch and there was no one to hear us knocking on the outside gate. Hot water and Wifi are OK. Had to keep asking for toilet paper.
