Very nice. Beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico

Very nice. Fabulous view of the Gulf of Mexico. On site help if you needed it. We were there at historic moment a blizzard with almost 7 inches of snow. This was a lovely place to stay nice and cozy. I don’t imagine that happens very often on the Gulf.

Perfect

Great location. Condo was spotless. Close to restaurants and grocery right across the street. Only con is there was tons of kids who stayed at the pool until closing time and they were incredibly loud. Very comfy mattress also.

Great little place for a short getaway

Travel friendly

Would have been nice to have hairdryer, and more than 1/2 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom . More garbarge bags or Tupperware would have been nice! Pool guy works really hard and did a great job keeping pool exceptionally clean, hope you taking good care of him! Security guy was like a natzi, had water in a Stanley cup and told not allowed by pools edge! I did not see that rule listed and should be!

Great place!

My husband and I had a great time! The place was a bit outdated but we didn’t care. The view was beautiful and being such a small building there was never a wait for the elevator or a lot of people in the pool. I highly recommend if you’re not super particular.

Orange Beach

The property is in a great location and on the beach. Pictures were a little deceiving as it was much smaller than it appeared and could have been cleaner upon check in. We did not spend a ton of time in the condo but the size would have made it tough to spend time together as a family in the condo watching VHS tapes in the provided VCR (travel back in time and bring your own VHS tapes because they were not provided in the condo). I spent early mornings on the patio by myself listening to the water which was lovely. That said, there was too much furniture on the patio…chairs were stacked and there wouldn’t have been room for them if they hadn’t been. The patio table had the bottom of a plant pot screwed to it, so not sure what that was for. It would be a great space for 2 people (not 4) if you don’t care about the frills. Location was key!

Relaxing

We were able to check in an hour earlier. Condo is a little outdated with the decor, couch not very comfortable, but whi wants to stay in doors with the ocean steps away. Only complaint No Blow drier. I wish I had known to bring one, other than that I would rent again!

April Anniversary Getaway

Let me start by saying that we had a wonderful Anniversary Weekend at the property that is beach side with beautiful views, that communication was immediate and they even called and offered an early check in and that 2/3 of the condo was immaculate, it was quiet and extremely comfortable. What was not conveyed until check in, for those unfamiliar with the area and the storm damage was that this property is still undergoing heavy renovation. There is dirt, mildew and renovation residue in the elevators, hallways, in front of unit doors and on patio and patio furniture that gets tracked through by the cleaning crews and the renters from the moment they arrive with no mop available for cleanup. Your feet and shoes stay black. I have photos if the owner reads this and wishes to reach out because when I brought it up at checkout, with the same people who told me that renovations - painting -inside the unit were ongoing at check in, said they had not heard any complaints about dirty floors. I told them to read the reviews. Just wish they had made the attempt in description or at check in and at least offered a mop or wiped down the patio furniture. All that said, we did enjoy our stay and would stay again.

Condo 405 Review

The condo was very clean and had amazing views of the gulf and the pool. The bed slept very well. The living room furniture was not as comfortable and could use updating, but overall a perfect condo for me and my husband to spend a few relaxing days.

Go somewhere else and pay a little more

I guess this is a "you get what you pay for" scenario. Let me first say that the location was great. Check in was super easy. We checked in after 5pm. However, when the listing says "2 car limit", what they really mean is "if you have a 4 person room, you get 1 parking permit, if you reserve a 6 person condo, you may be allowed 2 parking permits". They just don't bother to tell you that when you are reserving. So, the other couple that met us there had to pay an extra fee ($75) to park their vehicle in an unattended parking lot down the strip. The code to the condo door was useless 90% of the time because the door would just open without having to enter the code. Safety issue if you ask me. (Yes, it was shut completely and the handle would open the door from the exterior without requiring the code.) The electric stove eyes were so bent and unlevel that a pot or skillet would not sit on them. The balcony outlet does not work. The fridge was hot for over half of our stay. Do not expect the condo a/c to cool below 72 degress.....because it won't. I don't believe the floors had ever been mopped...they sure weren't prior to our stay. The fact that it is out of date is not an issue to me. I don't care if cavemen built it as long as it is in good, clean working condition...not the case here.
