02 - Orca Lookout Cottage By The Sea at Alder Bay

Welcome to Orca Lookout. A place to disconnect. Please keep your eyes open for the Orcas when they pass by, and enjoy the heavenly sunsets.

This pet-friendly unit features an open-concept living room/kitchen/dining room. The fully equipped kitchen even includes a dishwasher and ice maker. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom offers a double bed. This unit also has a dedicated high-speed fibre internet connection for streaming or working remotely.

Activities await – wildlife viewing, sea kayaking, whale watching, hiking, fishing or island hopping! Shopping is a short 15-minute drive away in Port McNeill. In the winter, enjoy skiing or snowshoeing at nearby Mt Cain.

Each cottage is privately owned but managed by Alder Bay Vacation Rentals. It is located at Alder Bay RV Park & Marina.
Reservations cancelled with more than 30 days' notice will have their full deposit refunded, less a $50.00 cancellation fee.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to 'Namgis Original Burial Grounds. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cottage.

Wonderful Retreat
The property is excellent and the location is outstanding. The resort itself is new and expanding and the facilities are excellent. The cottage looks out onto the ocean with a great view of the marina, ocean, and nearby islands. The unit is also new and the property managers keep it very clean and well stocked. The only thing to be aware of it is that it is a small cabin, essentially the size of a mobile home. The second bedroom is quite small but would be fine for a single person or kids. Aside from that everything else was great and we would highly recommend it.

Beautiful setting
We had a fantastic 5 day stay. This cottage was perfect and had everything we needed. Very tranquil and quiet and we enjoyed fabulous sunsets. The location was great for us to enjoy day trips exploring the area. We hope to visit again in the future!
