Great accommodation for access to Disney parks
Spacious family accommodation with very comfy beds, great location with short travel time to all Disney parks. several restaurants within walking distance and many others a 2-3 min drive away

Vacation Summary
The 1 Bedroom Condo was very good overall. Good size with lots of good amenities. Clean and tidy with helpful staff in the reception area. On the negative side, a couple of our friends visited for a few days and the sofa bed was just inadequate for them. The mattress was just too thin and the springs came through to make it uncomfortable.
The 1 Bed Condo would be excellent for a family with 4 young children but not for 2 couples. We enjoyed our stay overall and I'd recommend the resort. Its in a good location but a car is essential.

Great location
Fantastic location and great pool / bar area. My rating could have been 5, but lessened by tired interior, and several minor items broken (eg towel rail, screen door). Lack of kitchen utensils (veg peeler) but who worries about that on holiday? Washing machine / dryer very useful. All in all, I would book to go back next time - great value for money (and fabulously comfortable beds)

Brilliant family trip to orlando
Great location close to the Disney parks with free shuttle to Epcot from where you can use Disney transport to all other Disney parks. Only a 20 minute drive to universal studios and islands of adventure.
Pool excellent and a bar at the pool selling a range of drinks. Lovely lake view from the pool.
Supermarket nearby.

Orlando Family Holiday
My family of 2 adults and 3 children (aged between 7-12) shared a 1 bedroom condo in Blue Herons Tower 2 on the top floor. The views were spectacular both from our private balcony which overlooked the beautiful Lake Bryan and from the lift lobby area across to Downtown Disney and beyond to Epcot. The accommodation was typical of the U.S. with everything on the plus size and the ammenities were perfect for a self catered break. Improvement could have been made with a few more kitchen utensils but not a big issue. Located just off highway 535 and less than a mile to Disney and Interstate 4 the Blue Heron couldn't be better situated. There is ample free parking and restaurants within walking distance. Florida's Premium Outlet Mall is a 5 min drive away with all the designer shopping you could want. Driving times to Universal is only 20min and Seaworld and the nearer Disney Parks just 10mins. To the east coast it is around 60mins and to the west coast around 90mins. The Blue Heron has a large main swimming pool and second smaller pool with a hot tub also. None are served by life guards so smaller children will need supervising. The pools are cleaned daily. The boat dock and nature trail decking are really nice a peaceful areas and the resident Aligator who baths beneath is sure to fascinate everyone. There are two well equipped fitness suites and a small arcade games room. All rooms have wifi as does the pool areas. A poolside bar is run by a lovely English/American couple and they will happily offer great advice on places to eat and things to do.
The Blue Heron met our family needs and was excellent value for money. This was our second trip to Orlando and of the two venues we've stayed although the other was great, the Blue Heron would get the vote for a return stay.

Sehr gut für Familie
Die beiden riesigen Hoteltürme passen zwar nicht so recht in die Landschaft, die Aussicht über den See und die Umgebung ist von den höheren Stockwerken aber traumhaft. Zudem sieht man die Feuerwerke von Epcot etc.
Das Hotel ist gut eingerichtet, man merkt den Zimmern teilweise zwar das Alter an, aber alles ist sauber und funktioniert. Sehr geschätzt haben wir, dass wir zwei Badezimmer und separate Schlafgelegenheiten für Eltern (Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad) sowie ein Kajütenbett für Kinder im Gang vorhanden waren. Zudem gibt es eine grosses Wohnzimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den See. Der riesige Pool direkt vor unserem Turm war geheizt und es gab einen kleinen, separaten Kinderpool sowie Whirlpool. Auch ein nicht sehr üppig ausgestatteter Fitnessraum ist vorhanden.
Nicht gewusst haben wir, dass die Zimmer nicht jeden Tag gereinigt wurden. Dies ist nur gegen Aufpreis erhältlich, da es sich eigentlich nicht um ein Hotelzimmer, sondern um ein Apartment handelt. Uns hat das aber nicht gestört. Die im Preis inbegriffene Endreinigung hat uns gereicht.

Tolles Appartement-Hotel
Das Hotel befindet sich unweit der verschiedenen Themenparks, welche mit einem Gratis-Shuttle-Service gut erreichbar sind. Ausserdem gibt es in der Nähe einige Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Appartement war sehr geräumig, sauber, gemütlich und mit allem Nötigen wie z.B. grosser Küche, 2 Badezimmer, Waschmaschine/Tumbler etc. ausgestattet. Vom Balkon aus hatte man einen schönen Ausblick auf einen kleinen See. Für uns als Kaffeeliebhaber war es ausserdem sehr erfreulich, dass im benachbarten Gebäude ein *Starbucks* zu finden war.
