Thanksgiving getaway
Great property, clean and great for a family. The only reason I left 4 stars on communication with property manager is Vacasa gave me no local contact so had to go through national Vacasa for any needs. The dryer did not work when we were there so they offered to send someone out, but we didnā€™t feel comfortable having someone there while we were out at the parks. It would have been nice to have a local person that I could have coordinated with instead of having to have a new conversation with a new person each time I contacted Vacasa. Also, the unit is very bare. Only 1 towel and washcloth per person which makes it difficult when you donā€™t have a working dryer to be able to wash towels or washcloths. We enjoyed our stay and would still recommend, there just needs to be more linens included when you have families staying.

2nd Stay - Excellent Property
We've stayed here twice now. Great times had by all! The space was perfect for our extended family to have privacy in their rooms but also good hang out space to be together. Love that it is pet friendly, they even had dog dishes for food and water! The resort water park is so fun!!!

Short car rides to Disney parks! Great house to share for 2 families. Having access to the larger pool complex was great and it was nice to have our own private pool as well. Not many extras provided in the home, but target is close!

Property was perfect for my family. Property was as described. Very close to disney. Any issues were taken care of immediately. Fyi tho, pool will not heat if below 50 degrees outside. Charge for pool heat was refunded immediately, no need to argue, fight or wait, sent an email and it was refunded immediately. Thank you.

Hidden secrets.
Multiple issues with this location. Beautiful property but major lack of upkeep and communication. We arrived at check in to not enough bath towels. That same evening a maintenance guy shows up to fix the washer. We were at a loss as no one told us it was broken and couldnā€™t be used. The following morning we went to go swimming and the pool heater wasnā€™t turned on, even though the property inspector said she put it on. Our breakfast toast came out half toasted due to a broken toaster and the one side not popping.. around the house multiple blind cords were not operational and toilet roll holders were broken and barely on the wall. After numerous calls the pool heater was turned on 4 days late which I paid for. 1 week since my first phone call and Iā€™m still not given a response on compensation. We were not offered any accommodations to this broken washer. And the final days the front door wouldnā€™t lock due to a dead battery so I had to call again for this to be dealt with. Out of us 4 families that stayed together will not recommend or use this property or company.

The property was great. The house was clean, well maintained, well stocked, beds were comfy, etc. Iā€™m giving it 2 stars because of the customer service of Vacasa. We paid for the pool to be heated and it didnā€™t actually work until the 2nd to last day of our trip. Iā€™ve reached out multiple times about a refund for the days the pool heater wasnā€™t working, and itā€™s still unresolved. My advice, donā€™t pay to have pool heated if you plan to stay here and hope that you donā€™t have any issues and have to deal with Vacasa.

The property was supposed to have two king beds and only had one. There were several other issues; a toaster that worked on only one half, pool chairs that were falling apart, only one extra roll of toilet paper so we had to buy some, and limited paper towels and trash bags as well.

Excellent property!!
Beautiful, spacious condo!! We were very pleased with our stay! You are only given one trash bag so if you need more bring them. There are also no wash cloths for the kitchen so we used one from the bathroom. There were 2 towels and wash cloths per bathroom so you will most likely need to do laundry. To us, that was not a huge deal. You are close to all attractions and shopping/restaurants which is nice. The ā€œwater parkā€ is not much more than a slide, pool and small lazy river which was disappointing (looks much bigger in the photos) but we loved having our own pool so it made up for it!! Would recommend and definitely stay again!!

Property pretty much as advertised - clean, good location, small but inviting pool with a nice sunset view over the pond - really no surprises. Much better option than a hotel room especially when travelling with our small dog (kenneled when we left the unit). Will absolutely consider staying here again.

Poor Communication and Response Time
I had to email twice and then call in order to have our pool cleaned. It was not usable when we arrived. We were not able to use it the until day 3. The private pool was a huge reason why we rented the townhouse. It would have been nice to have been offered a credit to our account for this huge inconvenience. I emailed at 3:00pm on Sunday then called twice and emailed countless more times to extend our stay an additional night. I finally got a call on Monday at 3:15pm stating we could stay. Our check out was Monday at 10am. We were already 1/2 way home by the time I was given an answer. They need a better management team. We own a company. John and I make every effort to make sure our customers are satisfied. The pool not being cleaned immediately and the late response to extending our stay is inexcusable. They were simply requests that deserved a quick response.

Dirty, will not stay at this property again
Dirty. Couch pillows dirty, stained, ripped. Slider door curtain had multiple visible stains. Outdoor furniture rusted. There is a charge to use the outdoor grill, You couldnā€™t pay me to use it. It was dirty, the cover was dry rotted and in a ball on the ground. Looks and smelled like it hadnā€™t been cleaned in a long time. Many battery operated candles throughout house but none worked, probably needed batteries. Living room clock did not work, probably needed batteries. Dust on decor. Washcloths offered would have been useful. Pac-Man game machine did not work, There was sound but screen was blank. Front door lock needs repaired. Kitchen sink cabinet off hinges. I left 1 day early, didnā€™t feel comfortable with the lack of cleanliness. Candy wrappers found in 1 bedroom next to Pac-Man game, beer caps and garbage found on pool deck. Kitchen counter not wiped clean when I arrived, I cleaned myself. Owners need a new cleaning crew. I have stayed at 3 properties now at Storey Lake, all beautiful and clean except this one.

Townhouse was broken into in broad daylight
We were originally optimistic about the property. It was a gated community and the townhouse was nice (though the pool is VERY small). On our second day, while at Universal, the screened in pool area was broken into in broad daylight (the screen was cut and the person/group reached around to unlock the door). Upon returning home and seeing kids' floaties being left behind and the break in, we called Vacasa, the property managers. Their initial comment-after making sure everyone was ok- was "we'll send someone out in the morning". My wife and kids were alarmed and did not feel safe. We called VRBO and they were very professional and got a senior person at Vacasa on the phone who was much better. We moved out five days early and will not return to that community again.

Great place, but dirty
The townhouse was beautiful. We really enjoyed the small pool and the furniture was very nice. However, there were ants all over the place. We left food in the kitchen countertop (bread & pastries) and when we woke up if was full of ants. There were even ants in the second floor bathrooms. The place was also full of white dog or cat hair, it was disgusting to see so much hair in the couches, carpets, beds...Overall is a great vacation place, but they need to do a better job with the cleaning as well as with the ants, because it's really annoying to have to clean 24/7 when you're on vacation.
