We checked in at 11pm. Upon entering the cottage, I discovered the lock on the front door was broken. It took me 20 minutes to get anyone on the phone. By 2am, the onsite maintenance staff decided it could not be repaired and the entire mechanism needed to be replaced. By 4am, they were able to secure the door. This caused us to miss our 9am engagement the next morning. The door was finally repaired by 4pm the next day. The manager on duty agreed to refund one night of our stay. Upon check out three days later we learned this refund had not been arranged and we wasted another hour of our lives getting our refund. On top of this, the floors were dirty in the cottage and the half bath toilet was dirty. And forget using the phone to get any type of service. You will wait at least 20 minutes to speak with anyone.
