Meh - Much better options for the money.
The room was ample but the smell of bleach and cleaning products were so strong, I couldn't stay and had to rent elsewhere. Sheets were paper thin, but mattress was comfortable. They provided earplugs, which only leads to me to believe the rooms get noisy? I personally didn't need them but it was also a Tuesday night. The location had a few shady characters roaming around the property which wasn't ideal and parking is a bit far from the main door, which kind of made coming in late a bit sketch. The side door was broken so you had to walk around. Furniture inside the room was minimal. The couch was faded in high traffic sections, and the carpeting was dingy throughout. Wear and tear is obviously expected, but at some point, they could use a refresher. Some of the towels had permanent stains but were definitely clean, again, bleach is a fave here. Elevators both worked fine, just had a musty + room fragrance smell to them. If you're not expecting a lot from your room, or don't plan on being there long, this is fine. I wouldn't be renting again unfortunately. Oh, and no key. It's a door keypad, which is pretty convenient, but for some reason, my door didn't feel like it latched all the way? Using the top lock was fine.

I loved that there was a pool and hot tub included. The room was very clean and spacious. A feature we loved about this hotel was that they gave you an extra set of linens to change the bed if you wanted too and plenty of towels and a throw blanket for the sofa bed. Highly recommend Sonder at the point.

Property was nice, clean, except the elevators which smelled musty. Good system for self check in and door system. Had expected separate living room and bedroom and thought had a balcony but did not( my mistake probably). Small kitchenette area with coffee maker, toaster and fridge. Good after service as husband left an item in room and great communication from the team and they found itā€¦ Would definitely use Sonder again but need to check what room option Iā€™m booking.

Another Win for Sonder
Sonder has always been good to us, the rooms are spacious and the full kitchen saves us so much money cooking ourselves over eating out every night, even had a nice view of the city from the balcony and the wife enjoyed the large bathtub. Looking forward to my next stay at any of their locations!

The stay at Sonder at The Point
The room was good with a couple of exceptions. The TV signal wasn't working so the temporary solution was to use a Roku. Not ideal for me. The card key that was left for night time access wasn't woking either, however the hotel staff said it was because of an issue after hurricane Milton and it wasn't a real issue because the front doors were unlocked 24 hours.. The carpet could use a good cleaning but other than that everything was clean. It was convenient having a sink, microwave, refrigerator, dishes and other useful items for a longer stay. The hotel is in a good location.

First time staying at a Sonder. Iā€™m always a little skeptical about a property that is managed all via online/app, but my experience was fabulous! We were in a 1BR king suite which was perfect for the three of us, and we loved having a full kitchen to prepare breakfasts before heading to the park and a couple of dinners in at night. The bed is comfortable, the suite is clean, there were plenty of extras (toilet paper, paper towels, etc) in cabinets, and the couple of times we did have an issue (they are going through a TV upgrade) the responsiveness on the app and from the staff on the ground in Orlando was quick and appropriate. Very glad we chose to stay here, and would definitely do so again!

Checking in was confusing as Expedia didnā€™t send me the necessary log in! Once I sorted that with Sonder, the stay was great! Staff were friendly and our room was huge and clean with a cute note from Sonder! The air con was a bit loud but Sonder left us ear plugs which was a kind gesture! The little breakfast place wasnā€™t great! The girl working behind the counter kept her gloves on whilst cooking, cleaning and taking payments! Very unhygienic! She also used the same cloth to clean the milk heater on the coffee machine, that she used on the dirty sides! Highlight was Markā€™s spicy margaritas at the bar! Would definitely stay again!

When we first got into the room it didnā€™t look like it was cleaned at all! Dirty floors, dirty bedsheets, and to top it all off there was leftover FOOD in the microwave. 3 waffles with OLD shredded cheese on top. It was nasty and as soon as we opened the microwave the smell hit the room. I will never be booking with this hotel or any ā€œSonderā€ again. Tried to speak with a rep at Sonder and they did nothing. All they said was someone may reach out to us within 48 hours. They never did.

Overall, we had a good stay, we didn't really spend much time as we were mostly in the theme parks during the day. Communication was very easy and checking in and out are very convenient. It is very close to Universal Studios, restaurants and shops. Although, the bed sheets are not the most comfortable. The dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are dated, they can be very loud. Cleaning could be done better. A piece of garment and some receipts were left from a previous guest.

The room was very beautiful and spacious. Also, the price was unbelievably great. I will definitely return in the future. The only thing that Iā€™d say that wasnā€™t good, was that the pool had debris in it. Other than that, I was very happy.

The rooms are fine, however the shower faucet didn't work. I was moved to another room and the safe didn't work. The neighbors were watching TV and were loud and we could hear everything. Someone had a big dog somewhere in the building and we could hear him bark (only twice). or the best experience.

The kitchen was fully equipped and big enough, also clean. Full size refrigerator. Oven worked excellent so the dishwasher. Washer and dryer in very good condition. Not noise at all. Good size bedroom and bathroom. Hotel is not noisy. Only detail the property is old and carpets are filthy. Close to everything. Walmart was only 10min away.
