Great looking hotel in great location. We had a larger room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pretty park opposite. This was a highlight for us as nice to sit and sip on a wine and watch street below. Was surprised and disappointed that as part of my VIP package that my 2 x free beverages (no conditions in booking) equated to a bottle of water or coke only. Upon asking why not a glass of wine or alcohol i was advised in Norway free alcohol is not promoted. My view was it was complimentary (i received complimentary drinks in Bergen Norway?). This needs to be reviewed as misleading. Other concern was no top up to tea or coffee pods on the 3 days we were at hotel. Breakfast quite comprehensive so no complaints there. Overall location and hotel great, customer service not at level of any other hotels from our 3 week Scandinavia holiday. PS: steer clear of Scotsman bar nearby, the barman is rudest person I've ever dealt with. Was also rude to my wife and online reviews are terrible.

The hotel was easy to find and convenient for public transportation. The state opening of Norwegian parliament happened right outside our bedroom window which was a pleasant surprise. The fact that you could open the window was a bonus. It is a city and there is noise with the window open. General traffic noise and passers by talking and then a couple of buskers last night in the parliament square - we quite enjoyed it.

This is a quaint hotel right in the heart of everything. Very walkable for all the key Oslo sites! Clean and lovely decor. The staff are polite and attentive! Definitely will stay here again

The hotel met all of our expectations. It was clean and so convenient to shopping, museums, historic sites, and restaurants. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but once we figured it out, all was well!
