Mattress old and extremely uncomfortable. Toilet flushed only randomly, even after a patronizing staff member initially assumed I simply didn’t try had enough, spent a bit of time tightening a screw, made me demonstrate my ability to flush it but never called maintenance. I gave up when it continued not to work on the first, second and sometimes the third try. Other staff were helpful and pleasant, it didn’t make up for the mattress, toilet, or the uncomfortable chairs.

Liked the hotel and staff were lovely. Hotel needs updating and had disturbed sleep due to room above us. Very noisy, banging things. 2 nights of it. No consideration for others. If it was a family then should be on ground floor. (If it was). Great position for town.

The Cotswolds Lodge is a lovely place to stay. Quiet and convenient, it's a short walk into the center of Oxford. It offers sage parking and lovely dining options. An excellent place to stay.

Excellent accommodations and decor, clean, great ammenities, great breakfast and service, and perfect location for us. ALL the staff we dealt with were amazing. Bed was quite soft with a stiff lump down the middle, but i was able to rest reasonably. Amy be time for a new mattress. Everything was so amazing that this was hardly noticeable.

Having a conveniently located hotel with free onsite parking was great. Walking is easy from the hotel to shops and colleges. The bus line is also nearby. The staff were helpful with directions and recommendations touring Oxford.

Very pleasant hotel. Walking distance from central Oxford. Parking available in the afternoon, though filled up - not sure what happens if you arrive late and no spaces available. I was woken ealry by the sound of footsteps of people on floor above me walking around their room for ages. So if that's a concern, may be better to ask for a top floor room (I think there is no elevator)

Beautiful old hotel with fabulous attentive staff and top quality food both at breakfast and evening meals. Not a cheap place to stay but value for money, which is what counts.
