Surprisingly roomy and modern. Garden was lovely for birdwatching. Breakfast room and in room treats were very generous, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Only about 20-25 minute walk to the city center, and a few pubs and stores also within a couple of blocks. Short stay so we didn’t use the busses but seemed very convenient .

Nice clean and relaxing hotel within walking distance to city centre but bus service is very frequent for people who choose not to walk as good 15 mins staff were very helpful breakfast was ok coffee machine was not to clever as like nice cup coffee in morning also was no tomatoes left for breakfast other wise very nice stay as lovely property close to pub and restrant

This was one of the nicest places I have stayed. It’s not fancy just extremely clean, comfortable and thoughtfully put together. I wish I had stayed longer! I wish every hotel was like this one!

A very nice small hotel which we have used 3 times in the last year. Comfortable, clean and warm, what more can you ask. Breakfast could be slightly improved for vegetarians, but it is adequate. The scrambled egg does not benefit from being kept warm, it needs to be cooked fresh. We hope to return

We stayed with my (2yo) daughter in one of the family rooms and it was perfectly provisioned. The staff was lovely and accommodating. The location is quiet but close enough to walk or bus to the city center. We would absolutely stay again.

Convenient for Summertown and Oxford centre. Parking a boon in Oxford ! Very unappetising hot breakfast - tasteless sausage, scrambled egg by the slice, and no sign of bacon !

Beautifully maintained older home. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was situated between Summertown and the city centre, and about 15 minutes walk to both. We arrived after 6:00 but instructions were sent for easy entry. The room was unlocked and keys left on the bed, with necessary information. It was too cold to eat breakfast outside but garden looked lovely for warmer weather. Would be happy to stay here again.

Great sized room and very clean. Attentive staff. Good location with parking, walkable to city centre. Only downside was a very mediocre breakfast (eg no bacon, poor quality sausages). Otherwise excellent.

Very good nights rest.
Mybroom was really comfortable and I have stayed here before in different rooms. In my larger single room the bathroom has a crack in a floor tile which should be changed as it moves. Except for that it would have been 10/10.

An excellent overnight stay The staff were great, gave me a parking permit and keys way before official check in time. The room was warm, clean and had lots of amenities and plenty of storage. Breakfast was fine and plentiful. Definitely stay again.

My stay at St. Margaret's Hotel was fabulous - like staying with a rich relative rather than the feel of a major hotel chain. My room was clean and comfortable, with excellent views across the street to the beautiful St. Hugh's College, and the walk into the town center was quick and convenient. Parking was easy and an absolute bonus in Oxford. The staff were friendly and helpful, the man on reception even lugged my massive suitcase upstairs for me. 5-stars for sure, will definitely stay here again.
