Beautiful Condo Retreat on the River

Come enjoy this rare riverfront penthouse condo in historic Old Town Pagosa Springs. This small, beautiful condo complex is adjacent to the mighty San Juan River, close by are both the river walking trail and Yamaguchi Park, and it’s within walking distance to several restaurants and downtown shopping as well as the famous Pagosa Hot Springs & Bath area.

This 1,700 square foot condo can easily sleep 6. You’ll love the well executed open floor plan and the privacy its layout provides. The kitchen, living room and dining area are all open to one another. There’s a hall full-bath located nearby. The large guest bedroom with queen-sized bed is off the kitchen area; it contains a walk-in closet, TV, club chair and large bench for your comfort. The master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling with a second fireplace and private balcony wile featuring a king-size bed as well as a full chaise making it an amazing retreat. The master bath has an over-sized spa-like bathtub/shower with custom tile. There’s also a washing machine and dryer located in the master bath area. The cozy private den area has a queen-sized sleeper sofa to accommodate two more guests. The intimate decks off the living area and master bedroom allow you to soak in the sights and sounds of this alpine community. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking all meals and a propane grill on the living room balcony. There’s a beverage station area adjacent to the kitchen for preparing coffee and hot tea to night time cocktails or wine.

The panoramic views from this third-level condo are stunning; they start with the river to the south, span the Reservoir Hill recreation area, up the wet land reserve along the river walk and end at the ancient hot springs with the majestic north range of the San Juan Mountains as their backdrop. The common area between the building and the river contain a gazebo, open park like area and a new river walk feature.

Spring Break in Pagosa
We had a fantastic spring break stay at this condo in Pagosa Springs! It was perfect for our family vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after a full day of skiing. The location was ideal—close to town for convenient shopping and dining and just a short drive from fantastic skiing.We recommend the day pass at the springs resort for a relaxing experience, Rosie's for pizza, and Kips for live music with dinner. A special highlight was the river behind the condo, where my son caught a huge brown trout. We highly recommend staying here to anyone planning a trip to Pagosa Springs.

Christmas Getaway in Pagosa
We took a week long trip over Christmas at this wonderful condo in Pagosa Springs. The location is excellent with very easy access to downtown and the hot springs. The condo had everything we needed for our short stay including lots of towels, detergent , and all the basic kitchen supplies. The condo heating works very well and the fireplace is nice. If you want to use the grill would recommend to bring a camping propane bottle (Coleman). The condo entrance is after several flights of stairs and felt very secure. We found the property to be exceptionally well maintained and one of the better property offerings on VRBO. We’d definitely stay here in the future as we had a really pleasant visit this holiday season!

Great place - beautiful river front.
Within waling distance of a lot of things. We love the proximity to the hot springs. Even my 7 year old was good with waling back and forth. The property was well equipped and was beautiful. Would love to come and stay here again, my family loved it! Appreciate the good communication from the owner and clear rules. Great Place!

Overall, the condo was great. The description does not indicate that there are three flights of stairs to the 3rd level. So if older adults are in your group, it may be a difficult climb, especially when carrying heavy suitcases and supplies. The balconies are tiny. The location and view are positives. The condo is very comfortable, with good beds and cozy furniture. I would definitely recommend this condo for young families and those able to navigate the stairs.

This cabin was beautiful, clean, and relaxing. The views of the river were amazing. Its minutes away from The Springs. We took this trip to get away and relax and it was perfect. The kids loved playing in the river and enjoyed the decorations inside the cabin. They didn't want to leave.

Beautiful place on the river. No limit to the fun you will have from this home base. Central to every convenience and activity offered in Pagosa Springs. You can gaze out at the river from the patios or grab a tube and jump right in!

July 4th celebration
We enjoyed our week long stay. We love Pagosa! The only things that could make it better would be mini split a/c units and a combo lock for the door instead of keys but aside from that it was a fabulous condo and great location.

Amazing place!
This is was a beautiful riverfront condo. Super clean and tidy. The people in the other condos were super nice and friendly. We had the windows open and the wind blew the bedroom door shut and it locked the door. Called the owner, super nice. Helped me figure out how to unlock it. Everyone was nice, condo was perfect. We rafted right outside on the river. Pagosa Outside was terrific! Wonderful vacation!

Great Family vacation
Would recommend to any family with children older than toddlers. Property was as advertised. Feels new and clean. Central location for pagosa and only 30 min to Wolf creek (in good weather.) Host Provided towels, shampoo, and laundry detergent - a plus for traveling with kids! (FYI, the condo is on the third floor, which was a surprise. Perhaps that is in the listing and we just missed it. Would have been an issue had we had older guests with us. Isn’t a criticism, but something to consider if you have really young children/babies or have issues with stairs.) Thanks Bryan for a great vacation stay!
