Situated just 300 yards from a sandy beach, this deceptively spacious detached cottage is in the perfect location for a family holiday. It has panoramic and breathtaking views over Torbay from most bedrooms and the back patio garden, making this an ideal place in which to relax or sunbathe on the artificial lawn, as well as to enjoy balmy summer evenings al fresco with a glass of wine on the elevated decking. Rosehill has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard. It has a spacious living room with open fire, a conservatory for taking in the view of the bay over to Torquay, offering plenty of space for 2 families holidaying together or a family with grandparents, with a private en-suite bedroom on a different floor. The house is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Goodrington Beach is a sandy beach and also offers family entertainment on the front, as well as Quaywest Water Park. During the summer season the local steam train can be seen running; take a trip to Dartmouth and visit the castle, or the many shops and tea rooms. Paignton also has an award-winning zoo, which makes a great day out. Close by is Agatha Christie’s family home, Greenway, which makes a nice trip. The fishing town of Brixham has a lot to offer and is also worth a trip. Enjoy a day out to Torquay, visit the theatre or the shops, or for more fun days out take a trip to Kent’s Cavern or Babbacombe Model Village. There are many water sports available close by or, for something different, try horse riding on Dartmoor. Take a long walk up Haytor, admire the breathtaking views and spot the Dartmoor ponies. No visit to Devon would be complete without a Devon cream tea. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
