Nice 1960s bruitalist building turned iinto a hotel .
A few snagging problems in the newly refurbished room and no cup or television remote in the room .
Reception staff from ethnic minorities were extremely helpful and respected my non binary, LGBT and disabled status.
Only downside was people who were residents put into the hotel with drug and alcohol problems from local authorities when we’re noisy and antisocial and given rooms in this nice hotel due to possible homelessness.
I paid £36 and got a nicely refurbished room with a disabled friendly shower wet room .
If you can put up with the residents put in the hotel this place is a comfortable bargain .
Morrisons supermarket is next door and Paisley town centre and railway station is 10 minutes walk .
Like a can of beans, this motel does what it says on the tin .
This is not a functioning hotel. On arrival at the Motel site, I was met by two police vans and a police car. I was asked by an officer if I lived in the Motel - I said that I was just checking in for the night.
I was told under no circumstance I should check in. This is not a hotel, it is a place where the local authority dumps 'undesirables' until they can be moved on.
There are regular assaults and thefts. The police are there all the time.
Reading other reviews - I know, I should have done this before booking but I was in a hurry - I see others have been denied entry because the Motel is 'full'. This is because the 'Motels' first loyalty is to the local authority and the rooms are filled with priority to them.
There is no way that this establishment should be taking paid bookings and it should be removed from Expedia - when I am told not to even check in on police advice alarm bells should ring.
There are a couple of 5* reviews here - I can only assume that they have come from the owners..... not even someone coming straight from Gaza could give this place a 5* review.
Not somewhere I'd stay again. Although the bed was very comfortable, the shower room good and access to internet television being good, when i checked in i was shown in to my room and left without a key to let myself in and out of the room. That made me feel somewhat incarcerated rather than feeling relaxed. There was a strange vibe about the place.
I had a nice time, the fire alarm did go off at random but it wasn’t too bad. Staff is super accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping is kind but comes way to early in the morning would be nice if they came later.

OK but beware people do live in the hotel
I'm not sure what's going on with the hotel it seems to have had a revamp (not the best work/standards) it was clean in the stair wells and corridors.
The room was definitely not deluxe and it wasn't a city View either I looked onto a flat roof at the rear of the hotel.
The room had a 32inch smart TV but it didn't seem to be recieveng a signal for normal live TV channels.
My bedding was clean but had a burn in it
My towels seemed new and was good towels but had stains on.
My stay wasn't as bad as some of the other people's in the reviews but the hotel does seem to have people living in it and there was a lot of doors banging through out the early hours of the morning people walking in and out the corridors making the lights go on and the light would shine right under my door.
The fire alarm was set of twice aswell once at 3.20am and once in the evening.
My stay wasn't the worst but it wasn't great and I think people should be warned about the hotel having long term residents living there.
Clean, free parking, comfortable bed.good price, can walk into paisley in 5 minutes.
Would be good if soft closers were fitted to all doors,,the doors banging was a little bit annoying, especially late at night
DO NOT BOOK!
They did not have my rooms even though I had prepaid. I was turned away and had to find another housing.
Terrible place!! Do not come here!! So many shady people that move around here. Was offered to purchase more than one illigal item from individuals that roams the area.
Organisation, logistics, service, everything is a nightmare. The lack of cleanliness I don't even want to think about...
Still have not been given refund or any compensation from hotels.com. Waiting for their "confirmation" on what happened.
This place is a scam, it needs to be removed from the site. It is a matter of safety.
