BEWARE!! This is not your typical Hyatt. I’ve stayed at Hyatts all over the world, by far this is the worst. It’s an old run down motel failed at a remodel. There are swamp coolers everywhere to include your room so when your AC goes out. DONT STAY HERE. I can’t believe they allowed the name on the building. Not worth the money, wish I could get my money back.

I give this hotel and experience a negative -5!!! It was a switch and bate experience!!!! My experience was beyond terrible!!! Worse hotel experience in 30 years! Can’t believe a Hyatt hotel was like this! First off, it was over 100 degrees and the hotel lobby didn’t have AC on. Instead they had one big commercial fan. No one greeted us. The hostess was helping a guest but everyone else was on their phone. The hotel was under renovation and no where were we notified or disclosed. It was like a ghost hotel. The room was barely cleaned. The vents had build up that spiked my allergies! It seemed like they stopped cleaning when they knew they were going to renovate. The pool had mildew and moldy and was closed. On top of that, when we went to check out, the front lobby was abandoned. We waited for 10 minutes and left. Later I looked at my statement, they charged me over $100 for resort fee and etc. I will take care of the dispute after. And hotel.com I demand a full refund. Terrible terrible!!!!

Filthy rooms @ Hyatt in Palm Springs
My girlfriend and I checked in on Friday room 304. The room was dirty. Empty water bottles unvancuum and hair in the bathtub and wall. We have pictures to prove it. The room was never cleaned or exchanged till the next day. My girlfriend and i complain 3 different occasions

Very badly maintained, hallways smell, the room is nasty stains on the sofa, carpet is filthy, the sliding door window was dirty, shower and toilet are plugged in several units. Guest complaining about cockroaches. Very disappointed and a very unpleasant stay. Definitely will never return. This hotel needs attention.

The front desk staff and housekeeping were a 10. The in-house restaurant needs help...it seems their employees (my guess is they're outside contractors) are doing multi-task jobs....the same guy is the waiter and bartender...they need better training....our breakfast was ok, but the server had to make 4 trips to complete our order.

Great location but the pool left a lot to be desired. It was murky and there were no towels. In 100+ degree weather, , you'd expect to find them poolside, but the tall bin was empty and it took forever to get someone to bring towels out (and then we got room towels instead of the ones designated for the pool).

I love that the hotel is close to everything and is on the main strip. You can walk everywhere from there. The room was very affordable. Although, when we realized how hot it was that weekend, I realized why it was cheap that weekend. The negatives: check-in is late. It's at 4. When we arrived exactly at 4, i checked in, and the lady mentioned they oversold my room with a king bed and would be getting a room with 2 double beds instead. For the inconvenience, she said she would wave all check in costs and deposits and would throw in free breakfast. The beds turned out to be too small for our situation, so it was quite an inconvenience. When we asked about breakfast the next day, turned out there was no free breakfast. Then, the day we checked out, the guy at check out told me i had to pay the remaining amount. The lady who checked me in made no notations of anything she promised me, but he believed me and told me it was waived. Another thing, the pool was so hot, it was not enjoyable at all (that might not be entirely their fault since it was REALLY hot). Lastly, our ceiling in the bathroom was leaking the entire two nights we were there.

This hotel is conveniently located on the street where the weekly farmers market takes place on Thursday. PROS: large suite-like room with separate living and sleeping areas, bed was comfortable, patio looked out onto gorgeous view, large bathroom located between living and sleeping areas, safe-need hotel key to operate elevator to room, lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. CONS: parking garage was difficult to find (it's not the public one next to the entrance) and no directions were given at check-in, toilet is low, no roll-in shower- only tub with bars, ADA pool lift was not operational and looked ready to fall apart, very little shade in the pool area.
