Great spot to stay while in Palm Springs
Really enjoyed staying at The Twist while in Palm Springs. Its a really cool hotel that was previously an apartment building. With its former life and recent renovations it has some of the largest hotel rooms you could ask for. The décor is great with it being all new inside but looking just enough retro. The room we had has super cool retro styling while still looking modern, we loved it! Seen on here that someone said it looked old and dated inside, not sure how anyone can say that the place is basically a new renovation. We found its location great, close enough to the action of downtown but very quiet. I would totally stay there again.

We have NEVER lived in such a DIRTY room! We were put in a studio room, where upon arrival we were met with an incredibly dirty floor, a terribly dirty carpet covered in stains and trash, a shower covered in hair, and I won't even mention the patio 🙈 it's impossible to walk in socks, all light socks turn black in a minute, and barefoot - even more so! We politely asked for cleaning the next day. In the end, the cleaners did nothing except for some reason change the towels. The FLOOR was just as black and dirty, covered in small trash, the carpet was also covered in trash, the shower was also covered in hair, socks were black in a minute. We wrote to the administration again, and on the third day they cleaned us again. It got a little better, but there was still dirt everywhere in the corners. The hotel has a great location, but the cleaning is just terrible. Therefore, I cannot recommend it.

First time in PS & finding this gem to stay at was perfect! Super cute mod rooms, very large & well appointed. Comfy bed. Very clean. Great staff. Loved the entire experience here. Will return on my next PS visit for sure!

Abysmal service and poor showers
We reported several issues the first day and when we left none were resolved to our satisfaction. The bathroom faucet was so loose you had to use 2 hands to turn it on/off. They tightened it, but it was still loose and continued to move. The TV remote wouldn’t change the volume. They replaced it with another bad remote. We reported it and was never replaced. The towels weren’t replaced the first 2 days, then again they missed the day before we left. We had to call for more toilet paper and they never gave us more dishwasher pods after the second day. Abysmal service all the way around. The shower had such low water pressure it never gave more than a trickle. Would never recommend anyone to stay there.

The staff was great. However, the pool heater was broken so the pool was very cold. The WiFi never worked and for whatever reason the area of the hotel was kind of a dead zone so could use my own service but was very slow. The hotel furniture needed updating and the carpet needed replacement, cleaned, or just removed. The bathroom sink had no counter space. The price of room was cheaper than other hotels in the area but most likely because of the condition of the hotel. Kim the hotel manager was great and I think is trying to make it good but owners need to throw in some money into the hotel.

Nice Twist!
I really liked how much thought was put into the many nice, fun touches at this property and in my room. I loved the styles and artwork. Great balconies! Lovely, comfortable king size bed. Biggest negative for me was the televisions in the room - one not connected to cable and both impossible to operate!
