The staff at the hotel and restaurant is extraordinary! Lovely, kind and pleasant people truly interested in your positive experience. Rooms are dated, but clean and roomy. The grounds are gorgeous! It’s nice to stay outside the endless hotel chains and stay somewhere with so much pride of service and attention to experience.

The grounds were beautiful. Rooms were nice. The staff wasn’t terribly welcoming or friendly. They definitely could have amped up the service factor when I arrived. They made me feel as if I was greatly inconveniencing them to check in and didn’t leave room for questions. After that part was over the rest of my stay was great!

The heater in the room was horrible. It was loudly blowing warm air onto my head on and off all night. The fan of the heater kept coming on even though I turned it off multiple times.
