The profit is beautiful on the lake. You can see the views of the volcano. The hotel grounds are immaculate. The people are kind. It’s beautiful love it and definitely will go back.

Es un hotel muy bonito con unos jardines extraordinarios. El ambiente en la piscina muy agradable al igual que el restaurante. A poca distancia hay un lugar fabuloso para disfrutar de la naturaleza: mariposario, puentes colgantes, tirolina. Etc.

Beautiful Hotel on the lake
Hotel Atitlan is by far one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The landscape and grounds of the hotel are like heaven on Earth. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There is no AC or refrigerator, though. It didn't get too hot at night but was hotter than I am used to. The restaurant at the hotel is pricy but the food is good. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

Did not like having caged birds, does not go with the beautiful place and seems cruel for the pleasure of some tourists. Julio, a staff member was exceptionally helpful.

Excelente hotel para hospedarse a descansar y tener una excelente vista a los volcanes desde el balcón de la habitación y desde cualquier parte del hermoso jardín. Necesita ofrecer más alternativa en el menú del restaurante, incluyendo opción vegana y permita modificar los acompañantes de los platos principales. El(La) mesero(a) debe estar más atento a la orden del comensal, cuando la tome y antes de servirla, ya que hubo que cambiarla en 3 ocasiones. Una sonrisa es casi una ley en cualquier servicio que se brinda. Sugiero "roleplay" a los empleados para brindar más sonrisa y comprenda la diferencia al ofrecerla.

For reference - I stayed at this hotel May 5-9 2024 My initial experience checking in and looking at the property of Hotel Atitlan was extremely positive and I was excited about staying here. Unfortunately after getting settled in I was quite underwhelmed with the hotel and accommodations which I had expected to be 4 star as marketed. Below are the pros and cons of my experience. Pros - Professional staff and with broken English but easy enough to communicate - Great view of the mountains and gardens - Poos and hot tub were fun to hangout at Cons - NO WIFI IN ANY ROOM - for me, as I was here and also still trying to get some work done this was a major issue. - Restaurant was overpriced and mediocre at best - better food can actually be found in town or we were going to other hotels that were less expensive but had a better menu and cook - No A/C in any room - during the evening and morning this was fine but expect to be quite hot during the day - Be ready to be price gouged - it's $150 to get a boat ride from the hotel - a 5 minute tuc tuc to the port and it's 35Q ($5). This also applies at the restaurant for food and drinks which I found incredibly expensive compared to what I was paying at the Porta in Antigua. - No ATM on-site Overall, I expected more. My recommendation is to shop around, there's better value and quality to be found in other resorts / hotels in the area.

The property and gardens are gorgeous! The only thing is there’s no AC in the rooms so it can get a little warm at night, other than that it’s great!
