We give this beach property 5 stars! This is perhaps the most beautiful townhouse in Prominence, the newest beach community on 30a. Designed with comfortable elegance in mind, our two bedroom, two bathroom townhouse is perfectly located just steps from the tropical swimming pool. For a truly memorable beach vacation, treat yourself to a respite at this delightfully convenient and professionally designed beach town house.

"Gracefully stylish" describes the decor with soft, understated colors of the sea and hardwood floors throughout. Our living area is designed with 10 foot ceilings, and is furnished with generous comfy seating, a large HDTV, and access to a walk-out balcony through french doors. The dining table seats 4-5 guests, and there is additional bar seating for 3-4. The chef in your group will be delighted with our gourmet style kitchen which offers the newest stainless appliances, including a 5 burner gas stove.

The luxurious master bedroom features a king bed, HDTV and a walk-in closet. Just a step away is the spa-like master bathroom with a double vanity and an oversized shower. The bunk room is handsomely furnished with two double beds and a twin trundle. For unexpected guests, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. For your convenience, the laundry room features a full size washer and dryer. Please note: there is parking only for one car.

Beach Access: Take the golf cart and spin on over to the sugar white sand. For guests who prefer to walk or ride a bicycle to the beach, there is a sidewalk path. Strollers and wagons are welcome on the boardwalk, and guests may bring their own umbrellas and beach chairs. Closest beach access is less than 1 mile from this unit.

The Town of Prominence is located on Highway 30a between Seagrove and Alys Beach. Guests enjoy easy access to a beautiful Town Center and a resort style pool. The state of the art swimming complex offers a tropical style swimming pool, hammocks, an outdoor dining area, and two gas grills for guest's use. ''The Chill30a” is the community's town center and features restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater with a covered event pavilion, a cinema screen for movies as well as a stage for concerts and events. CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

Solid stay, lacked wow factor
Overall we had a really nice stay. The place was new construction and was very clean. It was easy to check in/out, there was a basic starter pack of supplies, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware (although other rentals we've stayed at have had additional things that helped like salt/pepper, aluminum foil, more than one trash bag, etc). The golf cart was great to have, I would not want to stay in Prominence without one. The pool was nice but a bit cold for being heated. No hot tub was kind of disappointing. They had several chairs and a beach umbrella which was nice to have. The location was not great - it really didn't feel like you were at the beach as it was quite a bit inland and the view out the window was nothing but condo units. There was only one beach that we could get to with the golf cart and it had quite a long walk (0.7mi) from where you could park the cart, but it was the nicest beach in the area. We drove to a few other beaches in our car and were able to find parking by arriving early. Most of the other interesting stuff was outside of the range of the golf cart. The Big Chill across the street was ok but not so great that it would justify choosing this place. Rosemary and Seaside were both much nicer hangouts with more shops and better food options. The place worked well for our fairly short trip, but felt very cold/management company run and lacked any sort of personal touch. We got what was advertised and it was nice, clean and safe for our family, but if I was going back to 30a I would choose a different location with more character.

Great spot!
We’ve stayed in the same neighborhood for the second year in a row. It’s easy and convenient for restaurants, and the beaches close by are less busy than father east. Bonus that some chairs and bikes were in the garage already!

We did a quick 3 night getaway and this property was perfect. Beautiful rental with a Great location across from shopping and dining. We felt safe which is very important to me. Quick drive to the beach access was easy as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Very happy with our stay! The townhouse was as expected and looked exactly like the photos. The complex is very well maintained and felt safe, we even saw security a few times. The pool is beautiful and was never crowded. The closest beach access was closed at the time we went (late August 2022) but we were able to find another public access point that was just a bit further down the road. This was not a problem since we had the golf cart. The garage is stocked with beach essentials left over from previous guests including chairs, a canopy, rafts, etc. One thing to note to parents of small children, the stairs to the unit do not have an upper door, so you will need to bring a baby gate or rent one. We rented one when we realized this and it was quickly delivered. Overall, we would stay here again!

Easy check in, golf cart was a plus! Only issue was that are closet beach access was closed BUT that was not the property management team’s fault…it apparently has had several delays…would recommend staying here! Perfect for those with young kids!

I wish I would’ve read an in depth and accurate review before booking. Normally In a review I click 5 stars and move on. I did read reviews and had a heads up on a few things which I appreciated but want to be clear for anyone considering this property as some are unfamiliar with the area but all expect an accurate description when spending time and money on vacation. My biggest frustration was that access to the closest beach is and has been closed for months. Not only did I not get a heads up on that but when I asked the management company they acted as if it was new information. When I googled it we realized that Deer Lake had been closed for improvements for months (before I read the inaccurate description and booked on a no refund policy). The neighborhood itself appears to be in Watersound but is not actually part of Watersound so their beaches are not available. The other public beaches within a few miles don’t have restroom access and neither has parking close by, one doesn’t at all. Given we were traveling with a 4 yr old that made logistics incredibly problematic. Upon entering the condo it is attractive as depicted in the photos but could use a deeper cleaning. The hanging towels in the bathrooms were moist which later made sense when I realized the dryer seems to work when it wants to. There were also some towels that were quite dirty in the cabinets. There is a golf cart in the garage. It is not the one that is pictured and is a rental. As soon as we backed the golf cart out of the garage a security guard for the neighborhood showed up and told us we need to make sure our child is in his car seat in the golf cart or we will be ticketed by police. That we appreciated. We did not however appreciate the various other times that security bothered us to tell us we can’t have rental carts in the neighborhood, to ask what beverage I was drinking by the pool and to move the water (even my child’s water) 4 ft away from the pool. In fact the golf cart stalled the first time beside the pool. It was basically completely locked. Then, on Friday, the day before we left the golf cart stalled in the middle of 30a. Came to an actual stop as we were preparing to turn off toward the beach. Fortunately we all had our seatbelts on. I informed the management company after the cart finally started and their first response was “thank you. No issues, correct?” I would not book this property or neighborhood again.

Overall, the condo is nice. I knew when I booked that the location was not beachfront, but a little deceiving on the view from the balcony - overlooks the street and condos across the street. When we arrived, we turned the AC down but the temp in the condo continued to rise up to 76! We called and a service tech was promptly dispatched. The golf cart (not guaranteed) didn't work during our stay which was frustrating since did not have a car. No one came to address that issue after reporting to management. If the beachfront is not a necessity for your stay, this condo is roomy and nicely decorated.

Location is great!!
Overall a great trip despite one hiccup that the property manager took care of for us. The location of this unit is great! You can walk to the pool and The Big Chill/Hub easily, which came in handy when the golf cart wasn’t functioning upon arrival. As I mentioned, they had someone there trying to fix it right when we arrived and after having no luck they had a loaner there for us within a day and half. Parking in a single spot when garage was occupied from broken golf cart was a challenge but we made it work. I would caution using the iron because it leaves rust spots on clothes, dryer takes some time to dry and is noisy, and there’s only one hair dryer in the unit. You really have to keep the curtains pulled on hot days if you want the unit to stay cool because that Florida sun combined with teenage daughters getting ready makes for a very warm place. It would be nice if they added a ceiling fan to the 2nd bedroom as it was overall pretty warm. There are beach chairs and an umbrella with sand anchor that was very convenient when it came to packing up to go to beach! There are also 4 adult bikes which is also a nice addition. We would stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic. The location is superb, being that it was right across the street from The Hub, which meant my husband got his fill of sports and I got to shop. Happy couple. Having a golf cart was perfect because it allowed us to get around and saved us money since we didn’t have to rent a car. The condo was the perfect size for the two of us and the property managers were responsive and very friendly. We would stay here again.

The property is in a great location. Walking distance to The Hub and to the pool. Be prepared to bring a lot of your own stuff. We were given one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one bath towel per guest for our 4 day stay. No beach towels provided. Generosity goes a long way with renting your home out to others as we’ve noted while staying in properties all over the place. The property could’ve had a more thorough clean, but overall the stay was wonderful and we will definitely visit this particular neighborhood again for a rental. The decor was delightfully beachy and bright.

Beautiful Spacious Rental In the Ideal Location
The rental was beautifully decorated. We have four small children ages 8, 6, 4 and 2 and still found it to be spacious and accommodating to our needs. The three older children slept in the bunk beds which had plenty of room. Our two-year-old son slept in his crib in the master closet which was quite large and the perfect place for him to sleep in peace. The location was ideal. Situated directly across from The Hub and only a few minutes from Deer Lake State Park. The golf cart was so very convenient and nice!!! The rental is also just a few steps from the pool. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay!
