My fiancé and I are frequent guests to this property. The hot springs are amazing, nevertheless they can do a lot better in the following:
1) Pre check in client service is pretty horrible as the they never pay attention to any requests. It was our 4th anniversary celebration and I’ve asked for a flower decoration for our room and got no response whatsoever. I messaged and called the property several times with no response.
2) Bathroom amenities are poor. Hand soap, shampoo and related are probably not even 2 star hotel level. This property is supposed to be a luxury resort.
3) On this last stay, I forgot my headset in our suite after checkout. When calling to recover my headset, once again they never responded my messages or calls. After several attempts, I finally got a hold of them through their LAN line.
Their restaurant staff is great and I hope they continue to improve as this property has amazing potential.
Have the most amazing time in the thermal pools. Had so many to choose from and was so relaxing and beautiful surroundings. Rooms were beautiful and clean.
Termas de Papallacta hotel is the best I ever been. The hotel consist 53 cabanas with 22 pools technically as you step out of your cabana there is a hot spring pool.
They have a huge amazing Spa, indoor Pool with waterfalls, massage rooms. Three Restaurants that offer delicious meals, great variety. The buffet breakfast is everything you can desire for.
The only negative I can say is the hard rock thick pillows, inpossible to sleep on. I requested a softer pillow and they delivered it to my room. Service is top notch, though not everyone speaks enough English, but I won't complain about that.
This is a magical place. Places beautifully in the mountains. So many pools. Stayed in a cabin, heated floors, jacuzzi tub, and springs right outside available 24/7 made it perfect. Dinner was delicious at the restaurant. Excellent service and we’re able to accommodate allergies. Will be back here one day !!
This thermal hot springs and spa resort was beautiful and not far from Quito. It is an all inclusive spa resort up in the Andes Mountains with full on staff in the restaurant and spa services to meet all your leisure needs. Everything was well maintained around the grounds and they where very environmentally contiguous.
Although it is beautiful country, serene and relaxing this place is at 13,000 ' elevation. Don't be in a hurry to walk anywhere, you are going to breath hard unless your a local
Only one day but it was wonderful. Made good use of the spa treatments and the restaurant. A great ending to our 10 days in Ecuador. We will be back with friends for a longer stay. All of the staff was very helpful. Gary & Victoria
Beautiful place, the surrounding area is well maintained, easy access. The installations and restaurant were very good, big selection of food. Comfortable rooms.
This place was exceptional- the surroundings were stunning and the service from reception, to the bar, to the restaurant was exceptional. It felt like such a privilege to be in a gorgeous place with a phenomenal back drop. The only draw back ( and I think someone had already mentioned this) was I was in room 3 and there was lot of noise with people wheeling suitcases at 6am and children running back and forth on the terraces.
