Got told a couple of days before we arrived, we would have to change apartments after the first night due to overbooking. We couldn't find anywhere at short notice so had to accept.
We had to check our and take all of our luggage with us by 12 noon and couldn’t check into next apartment until 14:00. So with packing up, and roaming then unpacking waisted day 2.
On arrival we were asked if we wanted air conditioning, which we took, then had to pay for the three nights, as we moved needed a second remote control, which was offered but we never received.
On the penultimate day while closing the shower door, it came off the runner and shattered. The cleaner, a lovely lady offered assistance in cleaning up, but the owner who was having an afternoon sleep was never awoken, for fear of upsetting her.
We were never asked for any funds to repair this door, but were told we had refused. This is why with the aid of Hotels.com they extorted the funds from our bank account without authority before we had arrived home.
The apartments are in a great location, in a dilapidated 80’s decor, internet is intermittent at best. Management is haphazard depending on which daughter, Mother or cleaner you get.
Personally I will never use this apartment or Hotels.com ever again!
