Good stay overall
Friendly staff, appreciate the luggage service being able to drop-off belongings before check-in time at no additional cost, close to metro stations, fast Wi-Fi, clean comfortable room and bed. Good stay overall. Only issues are the incorrect description stating room with balcony and fireplace which the room had neither and housekeeping leaving the room windows to the garden wide-open which being on the ground floor could've resulted in room and belongings being accessed. The above issues were brought to the attention of the on-site staff; balcony was said to be the view into the hotel garden, was told the fireplaces were not working anyways, and they'll talk with housekeeping to be more careful with leaving windows opened.

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Excelsior Batignolles. The room was modern and spacious, compared to the hotels closer to the centre of Paris and for the price we paid. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear people stomping around in their room above you (we were on the ground floor), and people walking outside your room. Rooms could probably come with better pillows though, the european pillows on the bed provide no support at all. The hotel itself is not far from the Place de Clichy metro station. Lots of restaurants in the area too. The only thing that I could comment on was the check-out process. The hotel was about to charge me for the hotel room when I had prepaid through hotels.com, so the check-out process was drawn out by the front desk attendant trying to track down my prepayment records, when I should have only have had to pay the city tax and be on my way.

Amazing hotel! The rooms are very nice/stylish, and the beds are super comfy. The staff are friendly, and readily available. It's close to the metro, and several supermarkets. On Sunday mornings, there is a cute flea market a street over, which we felt made our trip more authentic. Would definitely stay again!

The room was sizeable for Paris, the bed was comfortable, the staff was incredibly warm and friendly and the location can't be beat. I would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable bed, great shower, no fireplace.
Thanks for a slightly early check in! We really liked the hotel and staff, the only reason I’m not giving it a perfect score is because when we booked, it said there was a fireplace and black out curtains and there were neither. This happens too often with hotels.com, but it is the hotel that over promised.

Nice small hotel conveniently located
Nice small hotel conveniently located. 5 mins walk from the Metro and in a quiet street. Handy for all the restaurants in Clichey area. I arrived at 10pm and needed food and all the restuarants were open and busy, though it far enough away not to disturb. Rooms have been tastefully redecorated and are charming and comfy. definitely would stay again
