VERY convenient for the Louvre.
Hotel is in need of a makeover. Reception and service were good. Room was small with a double and single bed. Bathroom was very clean and tidy but the shower unit water only had one setting...VERY hot, no cold available to cool it down. Breakfast was adequate. BUT absolutely spot on location for the Louvre....only 5 minute walk....and loads of quality cafes and eateries nearby. For those two reasons, would stay a night here again.

Not a good experience
The location was great! However the hotel is shabby. It was a maze trying to find our room. Long dark corridors. Mold in bathroom. The room was so small we couldn’t move. Hit our heads on the ceiling trying to go in and out of the bathroom. We would not stay here again.

The room they placed me in was on the first floor with one window that looked into the restaurant for the hotel…no natural lighting. The room had patch work done but no fresh paint to cover work done … no phone no microwave. It was clean. The staff was friendly. Bathroom was weird for me … one open space for toilet and shower no shower curtain or divider so when I took a shower the entire floor and toilet was wet. Had to angle the shower against the wall in order not to wet entire floor. The hotel is on a small quiet street but around a lot of cafe options and is near shopping on the main road.

The room was pretty compact but everything worked. Building was old but what isn’t around there. Free breakfast was good. Restaurant was on the corner and several others within a couple of blocks. Biggest thing was the location. Location location location. The Louvre was a 5 minute walk and there was lots of little tourist stores where prices were cheap compared to the bigger main stream stores.

The room was a tight fit for three people, but it was good value considering we spent most of our time wandering the city and only came back to the hotel to rest. The bathrooms looked to be recently renovated and were great!
