Fabulous location, just don't stay is room 65

Pros: Location
Location: Great location, central to most tourist attractions. The area reminds me of Mayfair in London.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, a walk to most places. We paid for a junior suite but I wasn't impressed, we were shown our room and that was it. There was no explanation as to breakfast times, where the mini bar was, tea/coffee facilities, safe, our bag were just left inside the doorway. Our room was just off reception, next to a broom cupboard and a meeting room. You can hear everything in reception. On Friday morning there were a group of guests chatting in the reception and as the reception is full of marble, the noise echoed. I told the young receptionist about this and she said "I understand your problem" and carried on with what she was doing. On Sunday morning we were woken at 6.30 am by the cleaner crashing about in the broom cupboard, getting the hoover out!!! So if you stay do not stay in room 65. On checking out there were 4 items of the bill that were not ours (over 50 euros). Although there was a apology and the reception staff were very nice about it, this should not happen. I would possibly stay again but I would certainly weigh up the pros and cons first.

Value for money

The location could not be any better! Fresh rooms, friendly personnel, good breakfast, classic interior . Five star quality without the five star glitz and five star price.

Can't rate this hotel highly enough

Centrally located off rue de Rivoli, between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde. Spacious room for the centre of a major city. Lovely staff. Hassle free holiday!

Business&pleasure

Had a business convention but was traveling with my wife so we spent the evening at the city. Had been in Mayfair once before and selected it again for excellent location and above average quality in general. Breakfast is expensive with 25 euros per person getting you limited selection buffet. We used nearby Starbucks, the Cafe at the corner is even more expensive than the hotel. Wifi is free only at the lobby, 10 euros per day for your room but it was working very well. No limitations on the number of devices. Room was good. For some reason the hotel had a couple of employees checking the rooms every day asking if we were happy with the cleaning. They knocked on the door and then before we could respond started coming in with their own keys! We had the security chain in place. Very strange behavior, what if people are in the shower or toilet? Oh, the air conditioning panel seemed broken, but we opened the window when it was too hot. The best part of the hotel is the location. Concorde metro station is very near so the whole city is easily accessible. There are plenty of small tourist shops in the Rude de Rivoli, the main street next to hotel. Opera and Lafayette are at walking distance with dozens of restaurants. And of course the park and Louvre are right next to the hotel too. In conclusion, excellent hotel as a base for visiting the city.

Hotel an bester Lage!

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Zimmer sauber und gut eingerichtet, EZ sehr klein. Kurze Anfahrt vom Paris Gare Lyon. Taxis unbedingt selber organisieren (100m vom Hotel entfernt stehen viele freundliche TaxifahrerInnen und fahren für ca. 13€ zum Bhf)! Frühstücksangebot speziell geregelt und eher teuer. WIFI nicht inklusive, 10€ pro Tag. Alles in allem jedoch ein empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Messumatka

Mukava hotelli erittäin hyvällä sijainnilla lähellä louvrea ja louvren puistoa. Myös metroasema lähellä. Aamupala oli vähän köyhä 25€ hintaiseksi ja huone vähän kulahtanut mutta muuten viihtyisä hotelli erittäin ystävällisellä henkilökunnalla.

Siisti, rauhallinen, pieni hotelli kaupunkilomalle. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet ja kiva sijainti. Lähellä kaunis Tuillersin puisto ja Louvre, Madeleine sekä shoppailualueita. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Saimme huoneen jopa aamupäivästä käyttöömme toki ei ollut sesonkiaika.
