Warm reception with a very helpful receptionist. Unfortunately, we were put on the ground floor (room 001). We were offered a twin room instead of a double, but we didn't mind either way. If it was explained we were on the ground floor I definitely would have agreed to be put in a twin room. I did not and could not sleep. There was work going on and moving things around all night. There was no consideration for us in the room. When breakfast was being served from 6am that was all I could hear too. I found this really sad as I was so excited for this hotel. Absolutely beautiful area and the website showed lovely rooms. We just didn't get to experience it. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. It was a special access room so the bathroom was really big.

So to begin with this property is an AMAZING location central to everything. The staff was wonderful, and the neighborhood was incredible, so historic and lovely. Next door there is a FABULOUS little French restaurant called the Bouganville, we LOVED it and the staff. There is a BEAUTIFUL passage next door as well, we LOVED. Now let me tell you the negatives, when people wrote the showser is small, they weren't lying! It is TINY!!! and DANGEROUS! it is like a foot off the floor and I swear it was awful to get out everyday. We traveled with my 91 year old dad and it was a nightmare for 5 days! The room is super small which wasn't a problem it was the shower. The hotel is VERY clean and very cute but the shower KILLS it. To make matters worse they charged us for breakfast everyday which was ok since we ate everyday (it was good) EXCEPT one day I did't eat AND the day we checked out at 6am (breakfast starts at 7am)..... I unfortunately didn't check my bill (half asleep) to see they had overcharged me 40E. I emailed them later that day and I still haven't heard back. (totally unprofessional). This hotel has amazing qualities but the bathroom and the lack of responding to my email for my 40E, has me super disappointed. Would not stay again and would NOT recommend.

The hotel is in a great area and many attractions are in walking distance. It is very clean and the rooms are modern. My only complaint is that the rooms are tiny! Ask for one of the rooms ending in 07. They are supposed to be a little larger.

Great location, but room is too small
Pro:The location is excellent. The Louvre is within walking distance. There are lots of food options around the area. The room is clean. The front staff Peter is super friendly and helpful. Cons: Room is too small for 2 people. The shower can barely fit a120 lb, 5’1 female. I keep on bumping my elbows on the wall. I booked a double bed with city view, but the view is only walls. However Peter is super nice, it made our stay okay.

The hotel is not what the pictures on the website describe. The bathroom facilities are particularly very small with a child size shower only. With no bar fridge in the room, you could not make tea or coffee and relied on the coffee shop on the corner near the hotel. The hotel was clean and location was great! But I would find a hotel with more facilities in the area next time.
