Room was very musty and carpet felt sticky. Bathroom was foul smelling. Bathroom sink did not drain. Air conditioning unit did not work. For the price we paid ($285 Cdn), this was an absolute disappointing experience and not aligned with the Choice Hotel vision of providing "high quality" to its customers.

Filthy and Poor Repair
The property was very dirty and in poor repair. We asked for a new room, the A/C didn’t work. We moved to a third room, it was also filthy. There was black soap scum and dirt in the bathtub, pubic hair on the bathroom floor and toothpaste on the counter. There was coffee spilled on the wall and cobwebs in many places. We did not stay and were told to contact hotels.com to figure out a refund.

First night we found the microwave dirty and table surfaces dusty. There were crumbs also on the carpet. Cleaned the microwave and surfaces ourselves after showing pictures to the reception staff. The second day was better. Everything was cleaned and stocked.

Ignoring inflation and the cost of staying at any hotel this was a decent experience. Paid more in comparison around the area for the promise of a hot continental breakfast and it was pretty good. Noticed a small blood stain on my comforter when i checked in so some attention there would be nice but it’s not enough for me to really care

Hotel overboooked a one night stay and my mom and I were told the only room left was a single queen bed. It was not a queen bed and calling it a double would even be a stretch. No offer to adjust pricing for their error. Linen was super thin. Room was roasting when we entered and took about a half an hour to cool down. Purple stain/leak in bathtub and sink faucet leaked constantly. Small love-seat in room had a single pullout bed, but no linen. Drapes did not close completely, so traffic/headlights from the McDonald’s drive thru was constant. Gross overall and not worth almost $300!
