Great location, although we went there in full snow, limited to no lake access, yet we played ping pong, Foosball, indoor pool, walmart and other stores are 12 minutes away, they keep snow off the roads, although it was slow time, we stayed dec 2 to dec 5 , 3 nights. Will be back in summers, bathroom was cool,newly renovated, big tub, and shower had a great flow, seems like whole bucket of water is falling on you, beds were not queen, they were full size, a bit smaller than queen, pillows need update, if you are regular ping pong player, bring your own paddles and balls, saves you trip to get and return to the reception. Same Breakfast every day, fruits, tea coffee, toasts, scrambled eggs , potatos, hotdogs, beans, bacon, pancakes, but as we eat halal, we couldn't try those hotdogs and bacon. Overall worth the price.

Cons 1.A maintenance guy barged into our room without knocking at night. Either the management didn't communicate to the person or the person lacks basic manners. 2.The complimentary breakfast was supposed to be buffet, but you can't serve yourself cuz somebody is actually serving you. 3.The bed was very squeaky. 4. TV was not working. 5. You can't control the AC. But there was a fire place which counterbalance the temperature. Pros 1. Dinner was amazing 2. The view was nice 3. The staff is pretty friendly

The best Anniversary celebration ever, we got upgraded to 5th floor king room, brand new, so thankful the fireplace worked, the crib for the baby was arranged. Toney on front desk was amazing. Will definitely be going again soooon. From the cleaning staff to the technician front desk and restaurant, so professional staff. Pool was amazing. Warm and Nice . Nature amazinggggg

Stay was good, but could have been better.
Stay was good. Clean facilities , though it can improve. However, the TV was a big disappointment. Almost all resorts have smart tv nowadays. I was surprised to see this one wasn't, even after claiming to be a 3-star. So no Netflix, Youtube or Prime. On top of that, half of the channels were not subscribed, probably it had just the basic package. Breakfast buffet had a very limited menu.

Not so pleasant stay
The staff needs significant training on caring for their guest. Front desk staff were not friendly and did not resolve the issue I had in my room. There was no TV channel box in the room hence, no TV for us during the stay. As we bookd through Hotels.com, they told me to to inform hotels.com to get any compensation!! Another guest who is going to occupy that room is going to face the same issue.

Fall Colours Family Trip
The room was newly renovated and clean. We were a party of 5 with four adults and 1 child. We had 5 carry-ons, a cooler and a picnic basket. It was a tight fit. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and pull-out sofa. I would recommend the hotel add 2 chairs. As a family of 5 we could not all watch tv together - only 3 people fit on the couch, 2 sat on the floor. The property was beautiful on a quiet lake. We took the canoes + paddles (complimentary) out around the lake. Life jackets were also provided. Breakfast was complimentary but was not a buffet. Ordered from a menu and were served by friendly staff. Breakfast with a beautiful view of the beach and lake. Shout out to Nick at the front desk - welcoming and friendly

The manager Heather and her staff were outstanding from the time we checked in, until we left. The beach is raked every morning and breakfast is included in the cost of the stay. Love that canoes and kayaks are included as well. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful trees and so peaceful, good for the soul.

The server in the breakfast area seemed to have missing a smile to greet people who are on vacation and come for breakfast the first thing in the morning. Being in hospitality business, I guess there is scope for improvement there. Everything else in the resort was just awesome

Seen better days.
Our stay here was ok but would probably not stay here again. Staff had a "don't really care attitude" Although it is the fall the atmosphere here is far from welcoming or fun, although resort amenities are decent. The Room, been renovated and is lovely. However, fireplace broken, window would not open, electrical is erratic and it was not clean! Included breakfast was great, although dinner expensive for pub food but very good. Weekday service in dining room was again very non caring.
