Beautiful little Inn within a picturesque village. No phone signal, just a lovely quiet weekend for me and my partner! It was lovely and just what we needed! Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Good food, service, advice and location! Thank you!
The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Overall it was clean however there were a few hairs in the bathroom.
We stayed in the static caravan behind the pub. 3 friends doing the trek 26 it was perfect. Well kitted out and comfortable. Had a meal in the pub on the Friday night a little pricey but food was excellent. Would recommend and return.
Excellent Pub and Hotel, food superb. Staff all attentive and welcoming, room was clean and tidy and bed comfortable. Askham as a village a beautiful place and we will be back in warmer weather to do some walking round here. This was our second visit to this property.
Stayed here to attend a wedding at Askham Hall, fabulous location, easy walking to venue and close to the Lowther Castle if you had time to explore. Staff were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious!
Loved the location. The place oozed old world charm. The staff were friendly and cheerful. The dinner was delicious with the best chips I've had in a long time. The steak and ale pie was very tasty.
