This was our first time staying here. We were in town for a family reunion. The Lady at the desk was very friendly and when she saw that it was just my wife and I she upgraded our room to a single king bed room from our double queen beds. Breakfast was good and checkout was smooth and friendly also.

We had to find a hotel because of hurricane Milton and this was where we ended up choosing. As soon as we walked in, the pool had a weird looking film on the top. Went into the elevator and there was dog pee on the floor. Walked into the room and noticed one towel looked stained brown and also noticed the night before we left that one of our beds actually had a coffee creamer smell/stain even though we didn’t bring in any or have any from the room. There wasn’t much we could do at that point because we arrived after check in and couldn't ask for a refund so we decided we would go to Walmart and buy Clorox wipes and wipe everything down ourselves. No other hotel was open that allowed pets and we didn’t want to lose $750. Wish it would’ve been a better a cleaner experience. We booked with Expedia and then we were almost charged an extra $311 on top of the hotel charges even though we chose pay at hotel, and the person up front didn’t catch it but thankfully a woman fixed it for us which was a 10/10. The area around the hotel isn’t the best and you can be met with a lot of sketchy people but it is what it is.

What I liked about this hotel was, the fast check-in and the decent continental breakfast (eggs, waffles, grits, muffins, cereals and a few other items). What I disliked was, the room was a bit dirty, room was very humid (sheets felt wet), bed was very tough, and the elevator didn’t work too well and the furniture was a tad ruined. Parking lot was good and well-lit. The area had various restaurants/places to eat within walking range. Overall, stay at your liking.

I would stay here again.
Nice hotel. Everything worked as it should and the room was large. The vinyl floor made everything seem a little spartan. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient.

Greed is sickening
I have stayed in the Tampa location on several previous trips to visit and had great stays. This time I stayed in Pensacola location for 2 nights because my permanent move to Florida was hindered by hurricane.The general cleanliness of the property/room appeared good, but when I entered the room there was old hot wings and fries in the microwave. Under the chair cushion there was old french fries and tortilla chips. A dirty plastic cup was on the floor between bed and nightstand. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable.I tried to extend my stay for 3 days due to storm, was told my room was available but price would increase from $91 to $342 per night. Greed is sickening!

The whole facility was clean and well cared for. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The breadfast layout was well done and the dining area very comfortable. The only negative was that the advertised hot tub [Orbitz page] was not functional and is being removed. That was disappointing because the pool water was pretty chilly. We would stay there again.
