Rooms were good size with black out doors / shutters on the windows. Shower in bathroom was good with shower curtain giving enough space in the bath. Breakfast options were very good, with lots of choice. Friendly staff at check in.

Some important details needed attention
Nice and comfy (to former Premier Inn levels) but a few things in my room could have been better: - had to wait for five minutes or so for someone to come to the reception desk to check me in - there was no cold water in the bathroom sink, so it was hard to brush my teeth without getting scalded - wall between bedrooms was wafer-thin, so I could hear every word of the couple's conversation next-door - the ground floor storage room "Fire door - keep locked" had been left ajar - a fire extinguisher in the corridor was missing

Great facility for an overnight stop when travelling north. Just off the A1 but very little road noise in the room. Modern clean hotel with friendly staff adequate bar menu reasonable prices will use again.
