The staff at the hotel truly made my stay exceptional. Kimchhoeurn, the doorman, stood out with his warm and welcoming demeanor, always ready to assist with a smile. Rfaksa, the receptionist, was equally impressive, providing excellent service and showcasing a professional and friendly attitude. Their dedication to hospitality made me feel valued as a guest. Loved my stay at the G Mekong hotel. Everyone was extremely nice and always willing to assist in anyway possible. It’s walking distance to the Royal Palace, river and orussey market. The area feels safe, but at night, when most business are closed, it’s better to use a tuk tuk. The restaurant and coffee place offer a large variety of options at a very reasonable price.

The people were very nice. The rooms were clean. I think my biggest complaint would be the fact that they had ceramic shampoo and body soap containers in the shower. I managed to hit one which made both of them fall and smash on the floor in the shower.

If anyone is travelling to Phnom Penh, friend or foe, I would let them know that this is absolutely the best hotel in the city. Convenient to everything via walking. The restaurant has many amazing choices. The spa is wonderful, the gym pretty good, and the pool marvelous!!

Lovely hotel, lovely staff!
It was a really lovely hotel and the staff were great. Room facilities worked well for us and good adjustable aircon. Just be mindful that the bathroom offers very little privacy so might not be ideal for those who aren't super close! Also, being from the UK there wasn't a ton of breakfast stuff that we're used to (definitely our problem, not the hotels!) with lots of curries, rice etc. All looked amazing but not typical European breakfast food for those who may be used to that. Lovely egg making station where they cooked your eggs to order though!

I am very happy with the G Mekong Hotel. I had a flight delay and couldn't arrive on my first booked day. The hotel could not adjust ghe booking, however they did provide airport transfer and a late checkout for me. The staff is fantastic and very kind. Im happy to recommend the G Mekong Hotel in Phnom Penh. Its a great location. I will come back here on my next visit.

Hotel looks recently renovated and clean. Some of the furnishings and fixtures are showing signs of wear and tear and could use some refurbishing, but everything else looks well maintained. Staff reception are very kind and speak fluent English. Housekeeping and restaurant staff struggle with English, but they try their best and are friendly - Lobby off the main road is current under renovation, so you have to enter at the back and walk through their restaurant to a makeshift reception desk - I received a coupon to use at the restaurant, but it’s still quite expensive even with the discount for what you get. Not worth it IMO - Room quite spacious. Bed a bit stiff, but still comfortable - Good air con to cool the room - Machines in the gym were okay. A few dumbbells were nice to have - Pool looks nice and clean, but didn’t use - Clean kettle with coffee, tea, and water bottles provided. Cups looked a bit dirty though - Towels and bed sheets in great condition - Housekeeping tend to forget to replenish some items - Good and stable WiFi - Flip-flops provided - Bedside power ports Overall decent value
