This was my second stay. For the money Richly is great value. The owners are very friendly and helpful and my room with balcony was clean. The owners went out their way for me with ordering tuk tuks and helping to order food for delivery. Great place. Will definitely stay again!
This was a very clean hotel with beautiful rooms. It is close to most parts of the city, and has markets and night life close by. When checking in, there was a man working that spoke no English, and didn’t understand that we made/paid for a reservation on Expedia. He kept asking us to “pay Now”, when we already paid online. The next day, a lady was working that spoke better English and was very accommodating.
The hotel management was awful and had an ominous atmosphere. They were strange, not friendly, and only spoke Chinese (we communicated via his phone translator). There was no breakfast despite this being included in the reservation. When we checked out, they asked us to pay for the room despite having already paid through Expedia. The employee was only wearing a towel and acted strange, like he was scared of the manager. Very weird.
Check in was ok and quick.
Room is fine..nice view i was on the 4th floor at the rear..tv was ok..bathroom is clouded glass so little weird..shower is fixed to the wall so can be a lttle awkward..prefer aone i can manipulate..bed soft enough and 4 lovely pillows...a nice hotel and an ok stay..
On arrival at 10.00 nighttime the 2 receptionists could not find my booking...gave me a room with no balcony..I said I booked a balcony...they wanted to know how much I paid..told them it was through a company but they insisted so I agreed to stay elsewhere as it was not their place to ask as I booked through hotels.com.told them to contact the company...eventually I got a room with the tiniest balcony..not the same as the pictured one...
The rooms are nice, small but good..bed is soft and pillows good.
Good tv and excellent channels...
Can see into the bathroom which is a bit of putting its smoked type glass but plenty of hot water and toilet far enough away ..
A small entrance with lots of greenery.
The breakfast is awful ... 3 in one coffee sachets and bread for toaste..
Mellon, sweet corn ,, and green stuff....
It's not a breakfast,really it's not..
There is a lift...
It's beside a club and has small bars in front of it..
The club it attached to a hotel which caters to the gay community ..
The strangest thing about thus hotel is how the gates are closed around 12 at night and someone sleeps in front of the gates on the inside..you've got to waken him to get in and he struggles to get the gates open every time,,actually found this comical..
The 2 receptionists are sleeping...my key was left out on the counter so did nit need to wake them ..that's every night I was late getting in..
Strange we hotel but comfortable....

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Average hotel for the price
It was the quickest check in ever! The room was nice the shower was nice and strong and the bed was comfy however, sockets were not screwed in and marks on walls. We stayed a few nights and never did house keeping arrive or bottles of water brought to the room! Breakfast was ok very little to offer eggs and toast really. It was quite awkward also as breakfast was served at reception where the tables were lined up.

Disliked: Cleanliness
I stayed here for 3 days. Comfortable bed and a very good selection of TV channels. Breakfast was quite poor. Water didn't drain properly in the shower. Had a misunderstanding with the staff regarding cleaning the room but the manager was very apologetic. Good location with many pubs and restaurants nearby. Quiet location.
Really nice, relatively central place with great breakfast.
It could have been a little clearer during the booking process, that our room has no window, but it was still a nice room and you don't spend much time there anyway :)
