Superstition Adventure
This pleasant casita is a great place to stay for a visit to Lost Dutchman State Park and beyond. The building is older, a bit funky but super-well maintained. The view from the open-air covered patio is both stunning and relaxing. The accommodations are clean, well-supplied and comfortable. Quiet, residential neighborhood. The host, Clint, was very communicative and friendly. The place is easy to find if you use your GPS. Shopping, eating and entertainment are just minutes away in Apache Junction.

Comfortable desert casita with a brilliant view of the Superstition Mountains.
If you're looking for a desert experience in a cozy southwestern home then this is the place for you. The casita is tucked away on a desert property about as close as you can get to Superstitions State Park. You have a view of the mountains just outside the living room windows. The accommodations are great--a full kitchen (it even had spices and coffee available), comfortable beds, and a nice enclosed patio. Clint gave great instructions on how to get to and access the property and very responsive. Overall, this was a great stay and I would return again.

Perfect location to avoid crowds
Our stay in Apache Junction couldn’t have been better. For starters the communication with Clint was terrific. Once at the casita we found everything we needed for our stay including some amazing views. We wanted to stay in area that provided easy access to Phoenix and the towns South of Phoenix while enjoying the quiet and nature during our downtime. This casita in Apache Junction definitely provided everything we were looking for. If you are more interested in terrific views and easy access to nature then look no further. This property provides these things in abundance.

Beautiful inside and out!
We stayed at the casita at the end of March. It was wonderful. The views are beautiful , the little yard is beautiful with tons of native plants. Sunsets were amazing. Interior of the casita was clean, rustic feel with all modern amenities. Nice beds. Everything was very functional. No complaints with the host at all, communication was great. The casita was better than expected.

Serene, Gorgeous views of Superstition Mountains
My husband & I greatly enjoyed our stay, with the quietness, privacy and spectacular views of the Superstition Mountains. We are not strangers to Arizona and have always been in awe of the landscape around the Apache Junction area. Clint was an excellent communicator with the written directions waiting for you as entered the Casita. He emailed you needed information and responded promptly back to you. The Casita was well stocked in the kitchen and you could tell they tried to think of anything their guests might need. Same goes for the bathroom and greatly appreciated the property had a laundry room (well stocked with needed items and an area to hang clothes not able to put in the dryer). The area was close to many of our favorite attractions and easy to get to stores as needed. Would not hesitate to return to this property in the future!!

Wow!
From the moment we encountered a coyote in the middle of the path to this casita, we were hooked. Yes, it’s that kind of rustic-yet-comfortable, quiet, one-of-a-kind place. Don’t pass this by if you’d like a peaceful stay in a location with beautiful views and easy access to hiking in astounding scenery. The casita itself was better than the photos, very well-equipped, and most comfortable. It’s telling that all was self-explanatory and so thoughtfully prepared so that we didn’t have a single question or issue needing Clint’s attention; if we had, we know he’d have responded promptly. All in all, our stay exceeded expectations. Thank you!

This location is superb, with fantastic views and trails and wildlife and free coffee, also piece of mind and great sense of security in the area. Saw huge jack rabbits too! 👍🏽👍🏽

Rental exceeded expectations
When we entered the home, as promised the door keys and a page of informational info greeted us on the table. Photos from the website were very accurate so nothing was a surprise except for the cleanliness, the openness of the home and the neighborhood was very welcoming. We came to hike in Superstition Mtns and followed the directions Clinton left us to hike in the state park without having to drive our car. (Very close to the home) Neighbors even have signs posted that read "Hikers welcome" "not parked cars". Any questions we had; our hosts immediately responded to them but that was very infrequent. We lucked out and were able to observe the "blood moon" our first night from the back patio; enjoying the peace and quiet of the area. Great place to reacquaint with friends new and old. Thanks, Clinton for making our stay worry free and fun!!! We'll be back!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay to experience desert living! Being at the foot of the Superstition Mountains provides not only short access for hiking paths but also a fantastic backdrop for morning coffee and an evening cocktail from the casita's lovely patio. The bed is very comfortable, and the rest of the house functions as you need it to as well. We would not hesitate to stay here again! Thanks, Clinton, for sharing your casita with us!!!

Clean, Beautiful, Quiet
Let me just start off by saying, this stay was actually for my wife and I to have our honeymoon. This property was fantastic! Just as described. Clinton was super easy to communicate with and responded quickly with to any messages or phone calls we had. The check in and checking out was as simplistic as you could possibly make it. Stress-free. The place was clean, quaint and had all the amenities you need for your stay. Perfect for a couple and also for a couple with a couple children. The view off the back patio of the superstition mountain, phenomenal. For us it was also nice to have the places we wanted to check out close by. The Apache Trail and heading out to Tortilla Flat was right around the corner from your stay and about 25 minutes to Tortilla Flatt. The Goldfield ghost mine is a very cool place to go check out. 5 minutes away and you could spend a good amount of time there while checking out all the activities and sites. They also have a really nice saloon with an outdoor deck and good food at Goldfield. Hiking trails that you can walk to and get on right from the house. I would definitely recommend the area and I would definitely recommend Clinton‘s place to stay. Thank you Clinton for allowing us to stay at your place and making it stress-free and we really appreciate the fact of your description of the place before we even got there was spot on! We will absolutely be calling you again for another stay in the future. For anyone else that’s even thinking about staying here, don’t think so much. Lol. Book it, enjoy it, and you won’t be disappointed! Have fun everyone!

TRIP OF A LIFETIME!
For Christmas we gave the gift of adventure. We love hiking and chose this beautiful property for its location to the various trails and the glorious Superstition Mountains literally right in the backyard. The property manager was always responsive and was so kind and helpful. Felt more like a friend I never met. They even let us put Christmas lights on their cactus for our holiday picture for family back home! This trip was a trip of a lifetime as my significant other purposed on Christmas Eve on the Hieroglyphics Trail only a short distance from the house. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful property!

Hidden gem in the desert
We had a great time staying at Clinton’s property. Communication was perfect and everything was smooth from check in to checkout. It was the perfect relaxing desert getaway we were looking for. The views from the porch are just a taste of what the area has to offer. Make sure you take the drive to Canyon Lake. It is one of the most beautiful drives you’ll ever take. Then make the stop at Tortilla Flat along the way for some prickly pear ice cream.
