Welcome to Foothills Retreat! Located on the tee box of the 6th hole on the Foothills Golf Club Course. This updated spacious 4 bed 2.5 bath home is only 17 miles from the PHX airport. Enjoy an incredible heated pool with a jetted baja shelf. Dine outside and enjoy the endless desert sunsets. Cool off inside with a game of shuffleboard or foosball.

The Area:

VIEWS Skip the city and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ahwatukee while being only 20-30 min away from most attractions.

HIKING There are over 50 miles of trails in South Mountain Park area near the house. They are popular for hikes, mountain biking and horseback riding. Explore many of the well-known rock formations, like those in Papago Park, as well as Camelback Mountain and Pinnacle Peak.

GOLF Located on the 6th hole of Troon's newest golf course. The Foothills Golf Club is a stunning public course that offers 7000 yards of pristine links style golf. Looking for variety? At Foothills Retreat you are 15 mins from 7 different public course.

SPRING TRAINING Tempe Diablo stadium, home of the LA Angels spring training, is 15 miles away while most other stadiums are within a 30 minute drive.

NASCAR The Phoenix Raceway, home of the Nascar championship race, is located 24 miles away.


The House:

OUTSIDE: Enjoy the sunset views on the golf course in a true backyard oasis with an updated heated pool, in-pool lounge chairs, pool fountain water features, outdoor fridge, propane bbq, gas fire pit and several seating areas. Socialize at an outdoor dining table that extends to accommodate up to 8 people. Outdoor games are provided such as ladder golf and cornhole.

​GAME ROOM: Challenge your family/friends to a game of shuffleboard or foosball in the game room.

LIVING SPACES: Inside you can cool off in living spaces designed for vacation. Relax in a living room that can comfortably seat 7 adults with recliner chairs/couch and a 70" TV, all with a view to the pool outdoor area.

KITCHEN: Entertain in a large kitchen with two ovens and additional built-in seating overlooking the pool outdoor area. The Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment for you to host your family or friends.

BEDROOMS: Sleep in bedrooms designed for comfort with blackout curtains and foam mattresses.

- A master bedroom suite that is isolated to a separate side of the house w/ private door to the outside seating and pool area. The master room has a private full bath, 55” TV and a large walk-in closet.
- A guest room with a king size bed and 43" TV.
- A guest room with a queen bed.
- A bunk bedroom that can host up to 5 people! This room has a twin over full bunk & a twin with a twin trundle bed & 32" TV.

BABY: For those traveling with a little one, we provide 1 pack 'n play w/ mattress & sheets, a single stroller, high chair and 1 sound machine.

Perfect family retreat
This home was perfect for a multigenerational trip with family. The kitchen was large and well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the laundry was nice a big for a family! The pool and outdoor space was incredibly nice- great set up with an outdoor table and perfectly heated pool. We hated to leave!

Excellent home with excellent host
We spent just over a week in the home with our family of six. First of all, Mike is a tremendously friendly and responsive host. May not be everyone's top consideration, but for me, having the actual owner be so responsive and enjoyable to communicate with is icing on the cake to an already wonderful property. As far as the home, it is well appointed, very relaxed and comfortable, and has plenty of space for a large family to spread out. Tons of shopping, restaurants, and anything else you could need within five minutes of the house. The beds are great, the bedding was what you'd expect in a high end hotel, and they keep ample towels and linens on hand so we never felt like we were having to scratch for essentials even with the kids burning through pool towels on a daily basis. The pool was the cincher for why we chose the property and it did not disappoint. Being former Phoenix residents we are very familiar with backyard pools in the area, and this is one of the best I have seen. It is such a fantastic layout on the pool, the large swim step with lounge chairs is amazing and I have never seen such a cool setup in that regard. Very pleased with the stay given such a nice home and owner.

Little slice of heaven
We had such a peaceful and relaxing time at this beautiful home. The backyard was so fun, we ended up wanting to just stay home and relax and enjoy that pool and bbq. The home was also perfect for our Grand baby! All the amenities were there for her including some fun toys and books. The beds were super comfy!! We had a beautiful time and made some wonderful memories there!!! We want to go back!! Thank you Mike!!

Absolutely love staying here! Mike (owner) was always very helpful and responsive on any questions we had! He even overnighted a cornhole game for us to enjoy!! The pool is heated perfectly! Outside bbq kitchen and plenty of outdoor seats for large parties! Loved the seats in the pool. Enjoyed waving to all the golfers going by and they enjoyed the waves back! Great place for our family vacation! In fact our family all said it was the best one yet!! Oh a great neighborhood to go walking in, we walked to the clubhouse and had bloodymary! Thank you Mike!

Lovely, spacious home. Well equipped to handle young children with high chair, pack-n-play, kids dishes, stroller. Perfect for hosting a young family. The pool was wonderful and maintained heat even in the cold weather. Grocery store only two blocks away and so convenient.

Paradise in Phoenix
We were beyond happy with our rental! The house is beautiful, comfortable, clean, great kitchen, laundry and a beautiful backyard and pool. We bordered the 6th hole of foothills GC. We tried not to bother the golfers but they all would wave, and come talk to us while waiting. We got to know John and Jessica(the owners) through everyone who knows them who would come by golfing. Which we enjoyed. We looked to rent again and it is already booked heavily and we understand why. If you get a chance to rent you will be thrilled with your stay. Also the neighborhood is quiet and within a short distance from anywhere you want to go.

This place, nicely located on the Foothills golf course has all the upgrades and amenities that make you feel like you are staying in a 5 Star resort. Only thing that outdid the amazing accommodations was a hospitality of the hosts. They handled everything with courtesy and class. It’s a quiet neighborhood yet close to retail trails and highways. Book your stay, and you will not be disappointed.

We loved our stay!
We had such an amazing stay at Mike & Jessica's place! The house was absolutely amazing! More than enough room for our family of 6. Our kids 2-10 did not want to leave! So many things were provided for them. Pack n' play with a very thick and soft mattress for it, white noise machine, toys, games, pool gear, cups, bowls, plates and more! Very kid friendly. There was even a stroller and chair that we didn't need. Even though we didn't have to worry about keeping rooms dark, since the sun goes down early in January, we appreciated that 3 of the 4 bedrooms had blackout curtains and the 4th had wooden shutters that did a good job. Us Chicagoens didn't hesitate to use the pool, even though outside temp was only in 60s. The pool was heated, free of charge, which was great! Our kids had so much fun- such a perfect pool for kids! I was worried about there not being a fence around the pool but both patio doors had child proof locks on them! I could go on and on, but we truly loved this home! Such a great location. A very safe area and quiet neighborhood. Mike was always quick to answer any questions and he was so understanding when one of our kids caused a small amount of damage to one of their blinds. We don't know if our travels will bring us back to Arizona, but if they do- we won't hesitate to stay here again! Highly recommend!!

We had an absolute blast. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We also had our 7 month old and not only did they have a stroller and high chair but the pack n play was perfect along with a mattress insert that made her stay easy. The owner is so welcoming and accommodating. We don’t have any shortage of positives to say about this home. We will absolutely be back!

Excellent stay!
The house was beautiful and clean. There were toys and necessities provided for infants and so many fun games and things to do for older kids. The heated pool was, of course, a huge hit! The location was a plus as it didn’t take long to get to most of the places that we visited, but still felt quiet and safe. Mike was great to deal with before and during our stay. It was a Thanksgiving full of memories and we hope to be back soon!

Beautiful Home!
We really enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful house. The pool overlooking the golf course was our favorite part. The house is spacious and well equipped. Mike and Jess check in to ensure you have all that is needed. House’s location made it easy to get all over the valley in around 30 minutes. We are all hoping to book a return visit soon.

It was very nice, the kids loved the heated pool. Plenty of space for everyone. Nice neighborhood. Correspondence with manager or owner was great. They checked on us several times to see if things were going good, which they were. The back patio was so nice to sit at after dark and relax. When I go back to Phoenix, I will look this place up again.
