Super Cool
Great place to stay! There’s a restaurant, an outside bar and a swimming pool. The room decor is super cool! We paid for parking which was convenient for us and within walking distance to the Van Buren Theater. Thank you to Tonka and the entire staff for making us feel welcome, we look forward to our next stay.

Booked this awesome place for the closeness to the VanBuren. Fun place, outdoor bar wasn't open yet, still too hot, not a big deal. Very cool vibe, fun place, definitely worth the stay!!

My room smelled like dog urine. I was put across from a generator or some type of machine that produced a lot of HEAT, so running the AC was a waste. Female items were left in the fridge from a previous visit.

Quiet and cute property. If you have an event at the Van Buren it’s super close and convenient. Only complaint is that the plumbing in my room kinda sucked.

Staff was welcoming and kind. Rooms were clean and tidy. Very cool retro vibes. The round rug was folded up a little and was a tripping hazard. The toilet also did not flush. Bed was a little hard, but they give you a ton of soft pillows. Ear plugs and quality toiletries were provided as well. The ice bucket was an igloo cooler, so rad. Street parking is free. Lot parking is $15/day.

Check in was very slow. Service at the window was god awful. Server got coffee order wrong 3 times in a row. Gave us a room temperature latte. People above us were banging on the walls all night. One of the tiles in our room was loose and presented a tripping hazard. Restaurant and bar were good.

I had a super comfortable stay. The bar is pretty crazy at night but with the door shut the sound barely registered. Front desk was helpful at all hours of the day and night. Parking was great. I felt safe in the little area. So that was nice. I will say the no outside liquor rule is silly even if there’s a bar on site. But I would stay again. This was my second time and it was great.

great price - super cute rooms with nice toiletries and room design and appliances. Modern and comfortable. Clean! We were there on a night when the bar was closed so I am not sure how noisy that can get. With the heat, could be nice if there was a pool instead of a bar but I am sure the bar is fun too!
