Location
The location in old town Scottsdale was easy and convenient. The hotel was nice..suggest cleaning carpets in rooms and adding a few more glasses and cups. Also recommend housekeeping pay attention to coffee supplies. Recommend a 4 star hotel upgrade the coffee in rooms to a better quality.

The property was not very clean overall. It was next to nightclubs that played loud music past midnight on New Year's Eve, but also every other night as well! Service staff and breakfast were "OK". Main complaints were the property/grounds are not very clean, and the nightclubs make it Noisy.

My room was great, more like a suite or mini apt! The staff was very helpful! The only things that made me rate 4 stars instead of 5 were for the continental breakfast-wished they had the waffle makers that are available in most other hotels, didn’t have more of a selection for cereals-it was nice they had scrambled eggs but I didn’t want that every morning. Also even though my room was great it was literally right next to the pool. I was there for 7 nights and literally EVERY night until 10 when the pool closed, there were kids SCREAMING. Not sure what makes a pool the reason for kids to scream like banshees and the parents to let them but it was not very nice when I was back at my room trying to relax and get to bed. I called the front desk and mentioned it early on and they did send someone to take care of it that first time which I appreciated. And the pool was in close range of the reception area so I’m pretty sure they could also hear it & think they could definitely do a better job of keeping the noise level better enforced for other guests. I understand those families were also on vacation and I wasn’t asking to have them stop swimming or be removed from the pool area, only to have them quiet down, i would never let my kid act that way esp at night, very inconsiderate of others. I probably could’ve mentioned it to the staff more but I guess I didn’t feel I should have to, unfortunately now a days rude and obnoxious behaviors are just accepted and tolerated.

The Hyatt House old Scottsdale is a great place to stay, it was clean, had well equipped kitchen, great shower, and a comfortable bed. Small whinge, there was NO powerpoint anywhere near a mirror so it was hard to dry my hair and see what I was doing to myself. Loved the fire pit inthe garden, and saw kids having fun in the pool. On balance great.

Property is close to the shopping area (10-15minute walk/<5 minute drive). Rooms are spacious! We stayed on 3rd level (there is no elevator). It was great to have a full living area, a kitchenette with a larger fridge, a spacious closet for our luggage, and always amazing to have breakfast with stay. We stayed for 1 week for -- work and leisure. I know individuals mentioned that they were having network problems, but I had no issues -- both my partner and I were able to work from hotel smoothly (we were located far away from the check-in building). It was also mentioned in previous reviews that the units seemed dark and dimly lit, they added additional lights throughout the unit to correct that concern. I had no issues with it being "too dark". Some features are still outdated but overall would return.

About a 15-20 minute drive from the airport. Free parking and Free breakfast. Pool and jacuzzi too. Only downside is there isn’t an elevator on the property. Overall I enjoyed my stay with my family.
