Both Elevators need some cosmetic TLC and the elevator furthest from the front desk needs some operational repair on the doors. The front desk staff were absolutely amazing...friendly, welcoming & courteous. The hot breakfast included enough options to keep everyone happy and it was well maintained and stocked. Lots of safe, well lit parking and a Cracker Barrel is right next to the hotel. We also really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and pool, which support ADA mobility requirements.

I didn’t like that they only cleaned on your 3rd day and when they did clean they didn’t make the bed and when I went to the front desk they said oh you must have left a personal item on the bed that’s why they didn’t make it up but there wasn’t anything personal on the bed.the pillows were a little flat for me but other than that it was okay

When I was inserting my key card it didn't work and as if it was locked from the inside. I tried it a few times but it did not work at all. I had to go back to the front desk to let them know that my key card was not working and I couldn't open the door. I went back to my room and asked the cleaning lady to helped me unlocked my door.

Hello, good morning. I would like to register the nonconformities I found in the room during my stay at the hotel here in Arizona. Unfortunately, it was not pleasant. The room is full of dust on the furniture. My daughter is allergic and had an allergic reaction. On the bed next to the wall, there is a blood stain under the sheet, which was very unpleasant to see. The bathroom is old. The shower doesn't have much water, making it longer to wash your hair. I was going to make these complaints the day I checked in, but I couldn't find another hotel to go to. I ask that you analyze this situation and make improvements so that guests have a good stay. The La Quinta franchise needs to update its hotels, making them more comfortable and pleasant. Unfortunately, this will be my last time using this hotel chain.

Not a great stay
I usually enjoy La Quinta Inns. However, this property is older and is showing its age. The tub was all chipped and there were numerous paint chips on the floor in the bathroom. The lock to the door was sticking - making it hard to just get into the room and also hard to get out. This is a safety hazard, which I reported to the manager. Finally, it is next to a large freeway (not unusual), however, my room on the freeway side was noisy - I heard the freeway all night long. Not a great stay - I'll choose better next time.

Not bad, but staff needs improvement
Overall it was good for a quick one night stay. My only safety concern was that there was no actual lock between the door and frame so I only had the metal piece from the inside of the room. This should be fixed. Also, knowing check out is at 11am, the moment it turned to 11am, I had room service asking if I'm ready to leave. This didn't need to be that abrupt. Lastly, I wanted to continue to work so I went to the lobby area and was told to leave by the lady vacuuming. I want to acknowledge the older gentlemen that offered me the meeting room so I could continue to work. That was very sweet of him. Areas of the staff need better customer service to match the gentlemen that helped me out.

This La Quinta was clean, comfortable, everything was just right. I was surprised and delighted that in returning from dinner I had the thought that a cup of decaf coffee would be wonderful, and there it was by the registration desk.
