Earth friendlier renovated Mid-Century Modern building built 1960 with foam insulated exposed block walls, foam insulated roof, concrete floors, large soft skylights, steel and iron fencing, custom post-modern gates, converted to natural gas, desert friendly (low water using) landscaping, synthetic grass yards and other earth friendly yet fun features. We have reduced our yearly water use 80% saving 600,644 gallons annually!!! 😊
The condo was updated and redone (May 2020) and features two bedrooms (a King bed in one and a Queen in the other) and one full bath. We use Beautyrest Hospitality line mattresses (same ones used in Marriott hotels…SUPER COMFY and we get tons of compliments), new Macy’s bedding, new towels and linens, a fully appointed kitchen with cookware, dishes, glasses, eating utensils, cooking utensils, corkscrew and more.
The décor and art are whimsical and fun, the concrete floors were painstakingly (I know cause I did it myself) stripped and cleaned and sealed and turned out great. Two skylights and the white kitchen and bathroom make the place light and bright.
Guests of The Claremont #4 share the use of a courtyard, patio furniture, fire pit and BBQ grill with the owner of the property and his young son….and our puppy.
We have an onsite coin operated laundry facility for your shared use with another short-term residence and two long term residents.
One of the main attractions to this area has been the booming 7th Street Restaurant Row which fortunately has largely survived the lock-downs of covid. I see restaurants today encouraging if not enforcing social distancing, masks and in many cases temperature checks at the front door.
I live on-site & can accommodate most needs quickly. My son and I own a Bernedoodle puppy who is gangly and fun and we welcome others dogs and cats subject to basic rules like no pets on furniture, bedding or towels. The one rule that is not so obvious is that we do not allow pets to pee or poop on the synthetic grass for hygiene reasons. Synthetic grass blocks the absorption of pet waste into the ground which can lead to problems. Dogs are welcome to do their business fifty feet from the condo in a part of the courtyard that has gravel or of course can be walked in the neighborhood. Our pup and I follow the same rules and it works for us and it keeps the property fresh and clean. Questions? Reach out to me and we can chat. We have had many pet owners here and have always made it work for everyone.
