This newly furnished 7 bed 6 bath home is full of amenities you can't find elsewhere. After entering the grand entrance, you'll find a 16ft dining table that accommodates up to 18 guests to dine together.

You'll find modern furniture throughout the interior of the home and an oversized loft with a sport bar.

Each of the two Master King Suites, one of which is downstairs, has a desk and seating area for you to unwind, catch up on work or watch TV in private. Each of the remaining 5 bedrooms, without exception, has a queen size bed w/pillow top mattress, ample closet space, and a smart TV with access to premium channels including HBO and Showtime.
We pride ourselves in offering a luxury family friendly vacation with the perfect activity to accommodate every guest. Experience your favorite film or watch the game in our custom movie theatre which offers a 100'' projector screen, 12 custom movie theatre seats and fresh popcorn from our theatre style popcorn machine. Done with your movie? Just walk right over to our 500 square foot. game room that's fully equipped with Arcade Machine, a pool table, ping pong table, LED smart TV and a fridge to keep your drinks cool without running back and forth to the kitchen.

With the CUBS stadium less than 20min away, the Hope St Retreat is a great candidate for you to stay during your Spring Training visit.

Reconsider before making reservations
This property was NOT ready for our family who was in town for a wedding. Issues:*Pool was not heated (apparently broke) this was a question before I booked and I was reassured it was heated.* Pool was dirty * Patio furniture destroyed by weather* Yard toys destroyed by weather* 18 people were booked to stay at the house For and entire week. . One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom with no back ups.* Popcorn machine was filthy with old kernels and oil in it. Door falling off.* Movie theater chairs torn and falling apart.* 12 towels in the entire house* No extra blankets or pillows for pullout beds.* Bed descriptions do not match what is in listing.* Light fixture in master bath downstairs falling from the ceiling * Pictures missing from walls but nails still visible* Kitchen is not stocked with supplies to cook for large families. The cheapest small appliances and supplies are left in there. 99 cent store items would be an upgrade. This may sound crazy but when you are trying to host and cook for that many people having supplies is important. The owner did attempt to order some of the missing essentials which arrived from Amazon in boxes during our stay. He did have a lady try to fix the pool but that never happened. I feel the owner was trying to accommodate but all of these issues really impacted our stay. This is such a beautiful house that has just not been taken care of.

A great time was had by all
My family and I had the best week ever at the Hope Street Retreat. The property and furnishings were just as pictured. Between the home movie theater, game room, and pool we had a blast. Didn’t want to leave. We are a family of 16 and this is the first rental property that had everything we needed to cook and enough dishes and glasses for all of us. Even the beds are comfortable. Many rentals have terrible mattresses, but not here. Great place for a large family or group.

The houses space was great! The pool and orange trees were the best. Overall cleanliness was not great. One mattress in an upstairs room was not good. No dish cloths or wash cloths, we found that strange! We did totally enjoy our stay! Great response from the owner when we needed anything! (Early check in and a pack and play.)

Tired Property with Potential
This place has much potential and it’s obvious it had its glory days. The pictures posted in VRBO are dated sadly. Owners need to spend some time fixing what’s broken (the dryer, the hot tub (both very much needed!) and the keurig are examples. Most remote controls (except one or two) needed new batteries. There were not enough towels nor any washcloths anywhere. The shower curtains all have pink mildew at the bottom so need to be removed and cleaned. If the dryer would have heated lack of extra towels would not have been much of a problem. But the whole time we could not dry any of our laundry. The game room is very cool but literally none of the battery operated games worked. The air hockey table is a hazard- we worried it would fall over plus it didn’t turn on. The movie room is amazing! Please leave instructions for others on how to operate the projector and such though! Luckily we had one tech savvy member with us who figured it out but still needed our own ROKU app because the remotes didn’t work at all upstairs. The ice maker said the filter needs replaced. Water trickled out so we had to buy bottled water. Our family loved Arizona, and loved this neighborhood. But honestly The Hope Street Luxury Retreat needs some tender loving care put back into it.

Great Property Overall
The property was great for a large group/gathering! Lots to do and keep different personalities entertained. The property was clean and organized. The downside was multiple scorpions that were found. One of our guests was stung in the early morning hours in the forehead by a scorpion.

So spacious!
This property was perfect for our weekend away celebrating our bride to be. The heated pool, cabanas, and hot tub were a relaxing way to spend our time, or the game room and movie theater room! The beds and bathrooms were all very clean. Now trying to find excuses to book this location again in the future, would highly recommend!

Overall the house was great. We had a large group of 6 couples and the house was large enough for everyone to have their own space or all be together. The kitchen was well appointed though a couple of items would have been appreciated - washcloths and larger pots/pans. Some of the carpeted areas showed wear and a number of the games in the game were not working during our stay. The pool area was great as was the hot-tub. The backyard was large enough to play bags in a couple of areas and the covered gazebo was large enough for our entire group. The property manager was great! When we had a question he was quick to reply. We had an issue with the outdoor grill on our first day and he was quick to repair it the following morning. The house is in a quiet area yet close to grocery and other stores. We learned from a neighbor that the variety of oranges grown in the neighborhood are the best and not available outside the area... I can't verify that but the oranges were great!

Wonderful place for a large gathering of Family or Friends
4 generations of our family enjoyed this house immensely. The home was spacious, with large bedrooms and great community spaces. It was cool in January, so we used the game room, home theater, and card tables a lot. The house has some wear, but it can't be beaten for the price and space. The property manager checked in with us several times during our stay to see if we had any questions or needs. The seven orange trees in the yard were quite a hit. Our family is already talking about renting this house again.

Book Club Reunion
The house is gorgeous. We had rooms to spare as two of the six out of state book club members could not make the reunion. The backyard sitting area was especially conducive to cozy reminiscing. As was the hot tub. And we watched the movie version of our chosen book in the theater room. There was some wear and tear on some of the theater chairs and some other parts of the property, but nothing that spoiled the pleasure of our reunion or our stay

Deception from posting. Pool not clean. Yard games don't exist
Let's start with the pool. It was not clean. After reporting the uncleanness, I was told someone came out and put pool chemicals in the pool on Day #2. Day #4 The pool was still dirty. I msg & called. I was told someone would come out to put more chemicals in. But I wanted cleaned from dirt & debris. I was told it was a pool vacuum there. I requested that he come and clean it. He told me 2 hours however, It took 6 hours for arrival. Then I requested that he actually vacuum the pool. He try to convince me that it rained all week and that's why it was dirty. But I know it only rained on day#3. After vacuuming the pool he tried to leave. As he tried to leave, We asked about the heat because the pool was suppose to be heated. He points over to the heater. I requested he come and show us how to operate it. He laughed when I expressed how dissatisfied we were with the unsanitary conditions of the pool. He laughed and said it wasn't a big deal. Which it was. We weren't able to use the pool during our stay. The yard photos with games aren't current. Only the connect four is present. If you want plates you have to dismantle the dinning room table setting. Because those are the only plates in the house. The room off the laundry room is an eye sore with things just thrown jn it. Maybe there shouldn't be a glass door. Home improvement needed. Drape holders falling out of wall. Paint touch up needed. The 2 chairs as you enter are filthy. Improve cleaniness of indoor/outdoor furniture & home. Pros: check in,

Overall great!
The place was huge and there was plenty of activities, we didn’t even get the chance to use most of the amenities in just 3 nights. If I am being super picky, the only things I could complain about is that the lower level master bedroom/bathroom had a sewer smell during our stay and the walls were dirty. Other than that, the place was very nice and there was more than enough space in the house to host us all.

Lots of space, but TLC needed
The house is huge with plenty of rooms and space. We enjoyed the indoor theater, the game room, the pool, and the large open concept living room, kitchen and dining room was a good place to host my mom’s 90th birthday celebration. The property however needs some TLC and some maintenance. The carpeting had stains, the walls need painting, we had some water pressure and plumbing issues. The backyard patio and driveway area needed hosing off and the drip irrigation went on randomly and was missing emitters and sprayed water everywhere. The recycling bins were full when we arrived so we had to store our recycling for several days. We found a live scorpion in one of the theatre seat cupholders! Yet, despite all this, we had a nice time and a memorable celebration. With just some minor maintenance and TLC this house could be outstanding.

Hope St Vacation June 2022
This property was more than accommodating for our large group. We had enough space to enjoy the week with our extended AZ family and to celebrate an 80th birthday party. The kitchen was adequately stocked for the most part. Plenty of towels and linens on site. No need to bring your own for the pool. Overall, the property was nice, but there were a few items that definitely need addressing. Personally, I felt the cleanliness of the house was a little subpar (especially the bathrooms). The rugs in the bathrooms still had some hair and fuzz on them and the tented outdoor area with turf had some debris. I found a few hairs in the tubs, as well. The photos online indicated many outdoor games, but there was only a couple (connect four and cheap cornhole boards). The pool was only serviced once while we were there, and it became very cloudy by the end of the week. A safety rail should also be installed by the stairs. It could use a little sprucing up and the pictures online updated, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing property!
We had a big group of family stay at this amazing home. There was always plenty of room no matter what area of the house we were hanging out in for all of us. Bedrooms are all very nice and cozy. The pool was a FAVORITE place for all of us of all ages(1 year old up to 54 years old). The house clean and the manager/owner was great to work with and responded quickly when we had questions. Would highly recommend this beautiful private home for your next stay!
