This is one of two houses on a 2.5 acre lot with desert trees, palms, and lot of aloe Vera. There is a pool, playground, and a child sized ride on train. This is a newly remodeled house with a grey wood tile floor. The kitchen has a full-size side by side fridge, cooktop, and is stocked with cooking necessities. It also has private drive and entrance with a patio and grill. A castle gate next to the house creates a unique area to relax in. The area is quiet and dark, great for star gazing.
The space
The train will not be operational until April 1st due to construction of a playground. You can not hear any construction noise at the casita.
This is one of two houses on a 2.5 acre horse property. Both houses back up to a fenced in pool area. There are in excess of 300 palm trees around the house and pool. Some of the palm varieties are California palm, Mexican palm, date palm, pigmy date palm, European palm, blue Mexican palm, pindo palm, Bismarck palm, Madagascar palm, poney tail palm, canary island palm, and sego palm. The pool area has the feeling of a tropical lagoon. The house is on a dead end street. All of the homes are horse properties on 2.5 acre lots. We are one of the last homes before the desert wilderness starts. Tonto forest is larger than yellow stone and we are 3 house from it. This gives the neighborhood a feeling of being in the wilderness. There are many animals that cross the property. At night usually you can hear a coyote pack howling. There are very large numbers of hummingbirds in the spring. One of their favorite foods is aloe Vera flowers. There are thousands growing on the property that attracts them. If you wear bright color shirts they will fly up to you and follow you around. One of their favorite areas is the garden in front of the house. Last spring I had a baby hummingbird follow me around for an entire day. If you thought hummingbirds were small you should see there babies! The front yard has a living fence made out of ocotillos. There are many barrel cactus and over 35 saguaros. If you bring a black light you can hunt for scorpions at night. We also have lemon trees and you are welcome to citrus in the winter when they are ripe! The house is almost completely surrounded by mountains. This is not a subdivision and you will find out what old Arizona was like.
Guest access
You are welcome to wonder anywhere on the property!
Other things to note
Most nights you can hear coyotes. They always keep there distance and they are nothing to worry about. Sometimes javelinas (small pig like-creatures) wander through the property at night. They are very quiet and usually are not detected. If you see them just ignore them. They want to be left alone and are nothing to worry about. Just keep your distance if you see them.
