great hotel

Booked in the off season,got it for 25euro a night,hotel deals not sure of high season price..lovely staff and food,location good ..2minute walk to beach

Great value for money hotel, look past the poor English

Check in was quick and easy. We were greeted with glasses of plum juice and wet cloths to help cool down. Bellhop helped to take 5 pieces of luggage up to our room. When booking, we were aware it would be either a double or twin bed. We were given a twin room which worked out fine as the beds could be pushed together and gave two adults and a child plenty of sleeping space. Room was spacious and nicely presented. Room had a large flat screen TV and mini fridge which was useful for storing our own snacks purchased from 7 Eleven. Tip : If you like teas such as PGTips, Typhoo etc, bring your own teabags. Each floor has 13 rooms and each has a balcony with two chairs and a table. Rooms 1 - 10 on each floor face South and have a lovely view of the hillside. Rooms 11 - 13 face West and the view is of the hotel pool and reception and you get quite a bit of sun after midday. Floors 4 & 5 may get some sea view but that's just a guess as they're quite high up. The ground floor rooms are pool access rooms, which are handy if you want quick room to pool entry. We didn't go for these as we were concerned about noise and privacy as your balcony is in full view from rest of the pool area. Breakfast is served daily between 6:30am - 10:30am. The usual stuff is salad, cereals, fresh fruit, bread (which can be toasted), buns and croissants, ham, sausage (more like hotdogs) and bacon. Then there are daily variations as well. One day you could be having fried rice, the next you could have Thai noodles, curries etc, bit heavy for breakfast time but tasty anyway. A chef is also on hand to make your eggs however you like them, scrambled, fried, omelette etc. The pool is served by a pool bar which has a drinks happy hour, daily, 2pm-3pm on soft drinks, most cocktails and some beers. My only negative is that the cocktails seem quite watered down. They also serve food which is good value for money and tastes excellent for the price the food is. The hotel has a restaurant which serves burgers, Thai food and seafood. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant in the evening as we liked to go eleswhere for the evening meal. The hotel has free wifi which was really temperamental! Usually works if you're near the reception/pool area/sitting on your balcony. Seems to be dead in the evening. There is a lot of criticism of poor English of the staff. It is true that some of the staff don't speak English very well, however if you don't have any major issues then it shouldn't be a problem. Asking for everyday things like drinks, food, towels, wifi etc was easy enough. This trip is the 2nd time that we've stayed at this hotel. This is because it's value for money, about 5 minutes walk from the beach, there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby and market stalls in the evening selling Thai crafts and trinkets etc. For livelier bars you could walk into the main Kata town bit which is 10-15 minutes walk away or take a tuk tuk into Karon or Patong. Overall, we are really happy with this hotel and would recommend and definitely stay here again!

Relaxing break

The hotel is ideally located in Kata Beach, 5 minutes from the beach and right near restaurants and bars for a relaxing stroll in the evenings. Large spacious rooms well mainatined and cleaned everyday. The bed was a bit hard but the staff added a top mattress and that made it so much more comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful although the reception staff didn't seem to understand much - the rest of the staff were faultless. A lovely pool, large balcony with glimpses of the sea between the trees - perfect.

alles perfect, mitten im Zentrum Kata, Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut, service gut, zimmer sehr gut, alles schnell und unkompliziert geklappt, kann ich nur empfehlen.

Siivous erinoimaista, ja sijainti oli hyvä. Rannalle oli matkaa noin 400m. Henkilökunta suht ystävällistä, jotkut työntekijöistä enemmän ystävällisiä, kuin toiset. Hyvä aamupala ja ruoka yleensä. Allas-alue oli suht pieni. Hotellin vieressä on rakennustyömaa, joka aiheutti melua, välillä jopa yöllä. Hyvä hotelli, jos ei kaipaa mitään erityistä.
