The Staff was very, very friendly and helped out if something was needed. The location is close to were the crowds are, great place to meet lots of new ppl and have a awesome, yet relaxing time with many beaches near by.

Lovely pool bar. Noisy party in next room

Pros: Staff Pool bar
Cons: Security. Expected a Club lounge deal for a 5* hotel, but only able to offer 'my glass' drinks offer
Location: Close to beach and shops
Overall, a nice hotel and lovely staff. However, neighbouring room was loud and disturbed sleep. Hotel security took action as needed as many guests made complaints but neighbours ignored this, and noise continued for my last 3 nights. Each night, I trusted that appropriate action would have been taken, otherwise I would have asked to change rooms. So glad to leave. Security said that they would be evicted after 3rd night but, in my opinion, should have a stricter nuisance noise policy.

Wir haben da Grand Mercure Patong im Rahmen des Sandbox Programm Phuket besucht. Wir waren 2 ganze Wochen hier und es ist uns schwer gefallen wieder abzureisen. Das Hotel ist einfach toll, die Mitarbeiter freundlich und zuvorkommend und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist unvergleichlich gut und reichhaltig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang und empfehlen es jedem ebenfalls zu buchen. Es ist einfach genial direkt vom Zimmer in den glasklaren und sauberen Poll zu gehen um sich zu erfrischen. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls eine Empfehlung wert, wenn man den Trubel am Patong Beach und der Bangla Road entgehen will ist man hier Abseits genug, jedoch ist es auch nur ein kurzer Weg dahin, wenn man es möchte. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung und wenn wir das nächste Mal auf Phuket sind gehen wir wieder ins Grand Mercure Patong.

2 Zimmer Villa gebucht, kein richtige Kleiderschrank (mit Regal/Schublade), Pool war nicht sauber und auch in 9 Tage nicht einmal gereinigt, Steckdosen-Abdeckung fehl raus, teilweise nicht genügend Strom um etwas zu laden. Frühstück nur für Asiaten. Überteuerte Preise für Getränke im Hotel. Lift mehrheitlich nicht funktionstüchtig. Kein deutschsprachiges Fernsehkanal. Buggy-Service war aber hervorragend und das Personal hilfsbereit. Reinigung mehrheitlich optimal. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis suboptimal.
