Surprised.
I was highly upset that I found two roaches in my room. The management wanted to move us to the room under the room that we were staying in but I was not having that resolution. The management kept saying that they pre-treat their rooms, it was not their fault, someone dragged them. No matter. My room and the room next to mine had roaches and we needed to be compensated. Eventually we were moved to another room in the new section of the hotel. No one offered to help us move. I had to leave my belongings on my porch when I got home and wash my clothes in super hot water to make sure that we didn't carry home any unwanted "friends". We have stayed here many times and have never experienced this happening.

Hotel not clean!
I would only give this hotel a 2 star for the breakfast and pool area. The rest of the hotel isn't what is described or shown in the pictures. The hotel is very outdated, which was fine to start, but once we settled in our room we realized how unclean it was. Our socks were black on the bottom within minutes of being there. I wouldn't book here again.

Clean rooms, comfy beds, heat and AC worked. Not all rooms have elevator access. Definitely older - towel bar in the bathroom was missing because it broke and didn't get replaced. You could tell because one bracket was still on the wall. New flooring, paint, etc, so some updates being made NOISY. Centrally located just off the main road, so some noise expected, but no noise mitigation. If you're a light sleeper ask for a back side room or one in the new building.

Unhappy and dissatisfied
Booked for a two queen bed with balcony but the hotel overbooked and ended up with an accessible room. Front desk person mentioned that Hotels.com didn’t send them the room info that I booked for so not sure if that’s true or not. The room that we stayed in could used cleaning and updating.
