Not worth the expensive price tag. The bathroom floor was dirty. The wall paper in the bathroom was visibly coming off, one of the tiles from the wall came off. Very noisy, they need sound proof windows.

It was overall a pretty nice stay. Area is loud and there seemed to be a wide spectrum of humanity in the area. As a solo female traveler who had to walk around the neighborhood, for the most part, I felt safe. The bellhop was not attentive and there wasnt always someone at the front desk at night. The bar attached to the hotel was quiet. The lounge off the lobby was spectacularly decorated for Christmas, for sure the highlight if the hotel. Corner room is not worth the extra dollars because you just get extra windows in the bathroom. Rooms ok. Clean and dark. Central light fixture a little tricky to figure out. Can easily hear others in hallways.

Second time we stayed here. Great downtown location and view of Ohio river, trains, and the incline - very Pittsburgh! Service was good (no wash cloths?) but otherwise staff was friendly, service was good. We will come back.

All around great stay with the exception of valet. Apparently valet left vehicle in "reverse" when shutting off keyless ignition and vehicle's "ding" warning when unnoticed and drained the battery. We had to wait an hour for a jump.

Our room in the hotel we had wanted was canceled due to “technical “ problem, so our reservation was changed to a cheaper hotel at their expense for the first night. They were helpful in regards to finding another room for us in town during the Steeler’s first game. Although we were inconvenienced by the re packing our suitcases twice for a 3 night trip!!

The hotel was a beautiful renovated 1902 building , the rooms were very nice but our first room was extremely small so be aware of those rooms , we had to move. Friendly staff and our concerns were solved promptly. Good location but the street is not so appealing , just go around the corner

If I could give this a higher rating I would.
It was a beautiful hotel and incredibly convenient for anything downtown. It was a great value and I really enjoyed the architecture of the building. The staff were very good and despite having some technical difficulties, checking in and checking out very easy.

Really enjoyed the hotel and our room. We asked for a view and they delivered by giving us a room on the 16th floor with a view of the river. The area around the hotel did feel a little sketchy at times but it bothered my partner more than me and I feel was also reflected in the price, compared to the Monoco which was a 10 minute walk away.

Great place to stay in downtown Pittsburgh
This hotel is very central to so many things in the city of Pittsburgh. We walked to PNC stadium and PPG Arena, and there are many good restaurants around, plus a great park and walking trails along the river. The room was very well designed, and the bed was very comfortable.
